Kawasaki FD590V. The factory installs plastic cam gears which fail and wipe out the water pump gear and possibly the govoner gear and oil pump gear which are also plastic. There are kits available that come with an all steel cam and all the gaskets needed to do the job but the kit does not include these two gears. This is for good measures to replace these gears while it's a part unless you want to do the job twice. Cover your basis
