My wife bought herself a kayak and is intent on using it as much as she can before the lake gets too cool. I want her to have an anchor available in case she wants to hang out off shore a bit or somewhere that has no decent beach to pull up on. This anchor is convenient and handy. Shouldn't be any problem with her using it.

It's not big or dramatic, but it anchors! This fairly lightweight anchor will snag on mud or sand and keep you locked in well enough. I've used it with my 16' canoe on the lakes around where I live and it keeps me in place with ease. What else would you expect from a weight with hooks?

Bought this anchor to use with my paddle board while fishing. Works perfectly as advertised and has held up to the salt water in south Florida perfectly. Came with rope attached and all has been very sturdy. Highly recommend. Perfect for anchoring kayaks/paddleboards on the onshore line without having to invest in a sand spear.
