Needs a thick hull, and outer ring was very marred up and not polished. Hose barb is welded on poorly and has mesh on all sides, so not good for boats.

Advertised a fuel vent, but I used this as an air vent for the fresh water storage tanks on my bus. I like that it flush mounts, protecting the vent while staying out of the way. I can slide heavy items right over the top of it with no trouble. They also sell this vent without the flush mounting flange. It is more expensive, which makes no sense because this is that exact same vent, with an added piece that lets it mount into a recessed hole. You can just remove the flange if you don’t want it flush-mounted and the vent head will rest about 3/4” above your mounting surface. Quality piece of equipment and looks sleek.
