Advertised as metal but it is a composite, still strong and will do the job. I purchased 2, one for the driver's side and one for the passenger side. My Cam Am Defender had the stickers attached to the frame indicating where the handles attached, but I had to drill the holes and use rivet nuts to attach.

The handle fitment was perfect for the passenger side and the fact it came with bolts was great definitely a good buy!! Maybe sell it with the tap and drill bit would be good too!

Installed this handle on my 2023 Can AM Defender HD7 DPS, passenger side. This UTV requires careful drilling and nut rivets to be installed.

For Can-am defenders, you'll need nut rivets. Pretty easy to install though. I used other bolts (bigger) than the supplied ones. Works as it should. Made the wife stop bitching........for a minute.
