I bought this lens for my camera for the eclipse. My camera would not take a photo through it and struggled to focus with it on. I was unable to take photos with this lens. It is a solid density lens so it is very dark. The material is absolutely awesome and it seems very quality. It fit my camera great, my camera just would not take any photos.

I'm just a new photography "enthusiast", but this thing worked wonders for the eclipse. At 16+ stops, I honestly don't know what else you would use it for, but this thing works great.
