This is my first set of ND filters so I don't have much basis for comparison, but these seem to work great and I'm excited for some landscape opportunities to play with them more. I mainly got them to use with my Nikon AF-S 12-24 DX at 77mm and they fit great. They really just darken the image to allow for slower shutter speeds in bright light so I want to play around with nature photography, especially water in streams or beaches, to get some nice flowy images without needing to worry so much about daylight. So far I'm mostly just done some experimental shots to test these out but there's not much to it - take a reference shot, add the desired filter, and you can crank down the shutter to get the same exposure. I did notice that with the ND1000 there seemed to be a bit of yellowing to the image, but it's extremely dark so this wasn't a huge shock and some color cast seems to be typical. Also, I love the storage case it includes - very nice quality. Overall, excited about this set and looking forward to getting some nice shots with this on hand.

Got the 52mm thread size for my vintage lenses, always had the issue with variable nd filters causing unflattering color shifts and vingettes in my videos especially on wide lenses.Decided to get fixed NDs and I haven’t looked back since! Great quality filters, priced fairly, absolutely no vingettes or anything.

These filters are great for the price, however there are definite color shifts on each one so be prepared to correct you white balance in post processing.

If you're like me, you like the idea of neutral density filters, but your uses for them are occasional enough that you can't justify spending a whole lot of money on them. It's possible to spend a *lot* on a neutral density filter (which you should do if you're using it all the time or you're a professional). It's also possible to get really cheap neutral density filters, but the quality of those is often variable at best. This set of K&F Concept ND filters sits in a good middle ground -- not overly expensive (especially since you're getting three filters of differing strengths), but still good enough quality that you won't regret using them. These filters seem overall well constructed. The coatings are even, and they maintain a good, even consistency across the frame. It is possible to stack them to get different strengths. On my mid-range zoom, I have no problems with vignetting. They come with a fairly nice little case to hold all three. I'm not sure it'll stand up to a whole lot of abuse, but if you're reasonable with your handling of it I think it will be fine. The reason that I am rating these at four stars rather than five is because their aluminum rings do seem to be a bit prone to binding. I put one on my lens and had a bit of difficulty getting it back off. This isn't an uncommon issue with filters that use aluminum, it's one of the reasons to consider spending the extra money on higher end ones that are made of brass. I think they'll be fine, but I do intend to get a filter wrench and keep it in my camera bag whenever I might be using them, just in case. I don't want to get out into the field and find myself stuck with an ND lens that I can't remove. These are also very light weight. Surprisingly light weight. I haven't weighed them, but just from feel I think they might be the lightest filters I've ever owned. That's not necessarily a bad thing... If they actually hold up, that's great, in fact. But it does give me a little bit of concern over how well they'll hold up over time though. Since these are occasional use items for me, they'll probably be fine.Overall, despite some reservations about the binding, I'd recommend these for hobbyists looking for occasional-use ND filters.
