I got this for my 5 year old whose got a fairly big head for a kid his age... It was definitely too big and kept sliding around on his head. It fits me just fine as an average sized adult.

Very nice winter hat. Very warm and comfortable.This is a kids hat and wont fit adults but fits my son, whom is 8 just nicely.The tag is big enough to but there name in, which I find is a feature after my son keeps losing stuff that doesnt.

This hat is made of 30% wool and 70% acrylic. It's thick and well constructed. It's a bit big for the 5 yr. old grandson, so it's true to size. The hat is very soft and will be comfortable to wear. Posting pictures of hat's measurements and the inside tag. I'm pleased with this hat.

I ordered this kid's beanie for my adult daughter, who has a small head, and it's a bit too big. I can see it fitting a 14-year old with a larger head, but I can't imagine it would fit a 7-year old. This seems more like an adult small size.The product page says both "100% Acrylic" AND "30% wool, stretchy polyester fabric and soft-spun knitted" - so I'm not sure exactly what this is made of - but it feels pretty nice.The quality is good, and it feels nice, but be aware of the larger size.
