Got this for a friend who was impressed with mine. She loves it, even the color. She, like I, had an old school mp3 player that was hard to load and hard to work. This one is simple and easy and can do a whole lot more. Want to listen to music? Check. Want to download music? Check. Watch a move, read a book, wander the web? Check, check, check. The unit is very solid feeling, the sound is good (it has a built in speaker, headphone connection, blue tooth), and the batter life isn't bad. It's easy to use, the touch screen is pretty responsive and it feels like you get good bang for your buck.

So far I am very impressed with this. I actually got it for myself, to use as an alternative to my cell phone for things like Spotify music and podcasts) and Libby (audiobooks). Sometimes I need something less distracting than my phone, and this seemed ideal. It feels like great quality right out of the box, and so far seems very intuitive to use. It has several apps preinstalled, including Spotify Kids, Spotify, Pandora, Amazon Music, FM Radio, Tidal, Audible, Libby, and Chrome. You can remove or reinstall any of these apps as you choose, and can set up parental controls for usage times (you need to set up a password to do so). You can also download an app (Minishare for android phones, and Zapya Go for iphones) so that you are able to transfer media files to/from your phone, or you can use the (included) USB cord to transfer files from your desktop or laptop. They've included a micro SD slot that allows you to add a maximum additional 256GB of memory. It is surprisingly fast, and the bluetooth doesn't seem to have any issues. Battery time also seems very good so far. The size (approximately 4-1/4in x 2-3/8in x 3/8in) is ideal - compact enough to easily slip into a pocket, but not so small that the interface is difficult to use. It came very nicely boxed, ready for gifting, and they've included a protective slip-on case, a USB A to USB C cord, and a set of wired headphones - because yes, it has a headphone jack! I think the sound quality is quite good, especially for the price point. The device feels like great quality and like it will be very durable. I have just started using it and haven't noticed any glaring issues, but if I do over time, I will update my review. Overall I think this would be great a great little device for a kid, or an adult like me who just wants something basic and simple to use to listen to music or audiobooks. Definitely recommend.

I love this little thing - it keeps my 7yo off a screen and listening to music / dancing & singing.I was really impressed that (a) the packaging is beautiful - perfect for gifting (see photo), (b) it includes wired earbuds that fit in my 7yo's ears comfortably, and (c) it includes a CASE to protect it from the inevitable rough handling from kids.It comes loaded with Spotify, Spotify Kids, Tidal, and FM radio, and a few other functional----not distracting!----apps. A great solution for portable entertainment that will foster creativity and get kids moving instead of frying their brains.

I specifically bought this because it comes with Amazing Music pre installed, but it’s an old version and the home screen won’t load. It’s impossible to update it. Thus it’s essentially useless to me. The file transfer system is not intuitive at all and not a good work around for not being able to use the music apps as advertised.

The "Kids MP3 Player with Spotify, Parental Controls, Audible, Amazon Music, Libby" is a great MP3 player.First, the MP3 player does exactly what it is supposed to do, it plays MP3's, and it does it really well, but it does so much more. I love that this player has a clear big screen, pretty much looks like a phone. Aside from playing MP3's, it if you hook it into WiFi, it will also stream music or audio books, and has access to the internet. Comes already with apps installed for LIbby, Amazon Music, Audible, Spotify, etc. This is a complete audio player for the most popular streaming services. It does take a while to get the battery fully charged, but it does hold the charge for a long time as well. It charges via USB-C and you can use that to download your MP3's on the device as well. By default, the description shows that it only has 16Gb of built in storage. This may be enough for many people, but it is easy and cheap to add a MicroSD card to the unit to expand its abilities. I added a 512GB microSD card to the player and now have a ton of room for all of my audio files. In addition to audio files, it will also play some video files. It does pretty good at playing the files, but you cannot get the image to rotate, at least I have not been able to figure that out yet. It plays the video, but it is small and will not expand to the full size of the screen if you hold the player horizontally instead of vertically. Not a big deal for me as I wanted this for audio, not video. But it is a nice feature to have. The Bluetooth connection holds very strong up to about 20 feet. It will make it further as well if there are no obstructions in the way.The build quality of the hardware itself seem to be really good. The metal body and tempered glass feel solid and well constructed.I am dinging it one star for the following reasons:- Does not look like it is an easy process to update outdated apps when they need to be updated.- Does not recognize M3U playlists. (This could be a big deal for some people.)- Slow transfer rate. I transferred about 60GB of files to the device and it took an hour and a half to do it.Overall, this is a great player. It has some quirks, but I think for the most part it works really well, has a ton of features and has a great price point.
