Tried many other fans. These seem to hold up to my 6 to 10 foot jumps....Edit. One just stopped working. Everything still in one piece. Wires still attached.Don't know. Work well when they work.

I used one of these on my kraton exb to replace a surpass/rocket fan that died on me. As long as you take care to secure the wire to something that doesn't allow the wire to flop around when in use, they hold up really well. They also push a ton of air, especially on 7.2V which is where I run mine (max6 ubec maxes out at 7.2V).This fan is the red framed one on the motor. The silver one on the motor is the same as the one that died. It lasted a little over a year. Something in the motor on it died. I test the wire/connector to where it was soldered on the board and I could see voltage there, so it wasn't the wire or connector. Fans are a bit of a consumable item, like pinions and tires. Eventually, if your using it (and jumping a lot), it will die.
