Even though I sent these back, I had ordered the wrong size, then got the 50amp, they worked out perfectly for a quick connect & disconnect for my external solar panels. Mounted one side on RV with dust cover and the other to the panels. Easy and quick.

I secured the contact to the 6 gage wires using a good sized vice. Takes some force to crip the connector to the wire. A very large channel lock would not get the crimp done. Making the connection and taking it appart is very easy. I thought making and disconnecting would be hard. The hand hold provided helps. Connector design is actually very simple and easy to assemble. I have used this style connector before but not one this large.

These connectors are well built. The terminals can't be crimped with a conventional crimper. I have a long handled crimper I have used on wire terminals up to 4/0 without issue but can't make a dent in these terminals. In the end I soldered them, it is a little slower but overall I am happy with the purchase.

Referring to the Blue 120amp connectors (4AWG size)....Good quality at a reasonable price.Heavy duty metal connectors, perfect fit on 4AWG cable. 100% compatible with Anderson connectors, no modifications needed.To make the plastic body 100% compatible with the blue Anderson SB120 connectors just one small snip is needed. When you try to plug an un-modified connector into a blue Anderson connector you will immediately identify the small part that needs to get snipped off. The simple 20 second mod in no way compromises the strength, integrity or usability of these connectors.Only reason one star was removed is because these connectors aren't out of the bag compatible with Anderson SB120 Blue connectors. If you are using these by themselves (not trying to connect with existing Anderson blue SB120's) then they get 5 stars.Bonus water shield cap is really nice to have. Didn't use the pull handles, but they seem pretty decent as well.

But I was planning to make two systems for jumping both vehicles anyway. I bought this set, so i could have the two dust covers. One for each vehicle; Under the hood, and the two T-handles for the corresponding jumper cable sets I built. I'm slightly disappointed, because the T-handles are actually for a 50 amp plug, and thus are not as robust, with smaller hardware, than the Anderson set I already had. But it's still functional, so i left it at 5 stars, for the nice price!
