Bought from seller "Appliance Parts By Trible's", it is new parts and worked very well. The seller's price is half of the retail price, which is a good deal. Some key points:1. the seller's replacement doesn't include power cord (installed on the bottom), you need to reuse the power cord on the old disposer - just disamble and re-wire, not too difficult. It would be helpful if the seller could specify this, and I guess this is why the price is significantly reduced. Not a complaint, just hope people realize this.2. remember to hammer off the plugged stopper pin in the wash machine inlet, otherwise your wash machine may not function.

We were replacing our original disposal from 2011, when it began to leak. This model replaced our original model. The disposal & sink connector part came in the box. It was easy to replace and we choose to use current sink connector, as still in excellent condition. This new model performs with the same high quality & efficiency that Kitchen Aid is known for. Buying through Amazon was considerably less expensive, even paying a shipping fee, than other vendors local or online.
