The title is a little misleading, this unit is ONLY for 120 VAC. The body of the switch clearly states for 120 Volts only. This is a nice little contactor for machine tools like a milling machine or a table saw. You turn it on by pressing the guarded ON switch, if something falls against the switch it is possible to depress the OFF switch but not the ON switch. If power fails while the unit is powered on it will revert to its OFF condition. You have to push the ON switch to power up again - great safety feature. I plan to use this on my Jet milling machine which has an old worn out mechanical switch on it now. It is wired for 120 VAC.

Nice little switch for my electric pressure washer project. Magnetic safeties should be mandatory on all equipment like this.
