The quality is so much better than I expected. This is a super solid heavy duty cup holder and quite a bit bigger than it appears in the online photos. It is definitely a show piece when mounted on a bike and has already gotten a lot of comments from people who have seen it on the bike. It cost a lot to ship this to South Africa, but worth it.

Would have given this product 5 stars if it would have been designed right. You have to use loctite and set the bolt perfectly. The problem is it didn't come included with a bearing like it should have. The only way to make the cup function with gravity is to set the screw where it's actually too loose and it wobbles on the housing. This is even when you use high quality grease like redline CV2, like I did. Other than that it looks great, I didn't return it even though it came used and missing a mounting screw. I called the company that manufactures this cup and they shipped me out another screw with no hassle. Another thing Amazon packaged this cup really poorly like they do most of their packages. Which says something for the sturdiness of this cup that it didn't get dented. What I'll probably end up doing is buying a bearing and a longer bolt. For now at least it's mounted and I can use it. The weak point on this cup is the mounting bolt and the minimal threads that it goes into. It'll be between the threads giving out or the bolt that breaks. Other than that I couldn't be happier with this cup. It should really be given five stars. Mounts perfectly to 1" handlebars.For those who may want to know. I used a brass washer on the inside of the cup with grease on both sides and set the tension perfectly where there was no wobble and used blue loctite after cleaning the threads thoroughly. This allows the small chrome piece that connects the cup to the mount along with the brass washer to pivot together so the cup can be moved to stay straight.

This is the most badass mug you can get! I ordered this for my friend, who loves anything skulls, to take on our trip to Sturgis this year. It arrived missing one piece. They had a replacement part out in just a few days. Great, responsive customer service! The cup holder itself works great and looks even better! Super easy install. It even came with the tools necessary to put on the bike. I do recommend getting the glue stuff to help the screw lock in place. We were out and leaving the next day. Had to tighten it a couple times on the road to the vibrations. We got lots of positive comments and inquiries from nearly every biker we cross paths with in South Dakota. The cup holder is heavy, solid construction with beautiful shiny chrome. It came with two black stickers to put in the eye sockets which we threw out because those look cheap and stupid. I’m going to order one for my bike now, but I will glue rhinestones in the eyesockets.
