I have looked high and low for an affordable quality salt grinder!!! Hours of looking, comparing, etc. This grinder is such good quality. It looks wondeful. My husband came into kitchen and immediately noticd the grinder and said wow, it looks as if it's glass!! he thought it was really well made and glad I found it!! I don't remember the price.... so don't care!!! :-)

I love the fact that the grinder is transparent because I can see how much salt it has left. Also I like how it grinds the sea salt into fine salt plus the wood top & bottom give it a rustic look that goes great in my kitchen .

This thing grinds salt to a powder, and most of it sticks to the bottom of the grinder. JUNK!!! I've already thrown it away!!!

The default grind is fine, but it came with minimal instructions…just how to fill it. I can’t figure out how to adjust it. Otherwise, this is absolutely a nice item. Works great and has a nice feel.

Leaks salt and grinds out too much with each turn. If you have it held horizontally while turning it gathers in the bottom part and then you dump a lot of salt in one place...three stars at most. Now, that being said it is pretty!...and does grind good but setting it down, leaks like my other one did that I bought this one to replace UGH. It doesn't leak "as" bad when setting it down as the other, so that's the only plus. If all you want it for is looks, it's a pretty piece.
