Had high hopes for these carbide bits but felt they came up pretty short. I ordered these because I knew I was going to be drilling into hardened steel & most other bits are cooked after trying to drill through hardened steel. I also chose these bits because they are super short which makes them less likely to snap considering carbide is super brittle. I used them in my drill press on the slowest speed and with a ton of cutting fluid. I took it slow with consistent pressure and the bits lost their cutting edge almost instantly…. I know that these aren’t very expensive compared to the legitimate USA made carbide bits that cost 10x the price of these but I still expected them to be more durable. I will definitely save my money and by the real deal before I spend more money on these cheap Chinese carbide bits.
