This is a great stand. I already have a digital piano stand including music sheet holder and speaker platforms from K&M and the quality is outstanding.Same for this soprano sax stand. Made to fit into the bell, though not all case allow for the additional space. But this was not an issue decreasing my rating.Padding placed at bottom of the tube to hold bell without scratching it.Good balance between stability (hard to tilt, since legs and base are out of metal) and weight.The legs are actually much stable than seen on the product picture.

It’s stable. Does what it's designed to do and fits the bell of the my soprano. However the sax won’t fit in the case anymore once it’s in the bell.

The product does a good job. I like the heavy weight and low center of gravity. Easy storage in the bell takes up no extra space. Footprint on stage is small. Works for me.

I have several K&M stands, one for my trumpet and one for my flugelhorn. Since these work so well, I decided to buy one for my straight soprano saxophone.

I guess a lot of soprano sax players are pretty clumsy. It's hard to imagine this stand being knocked over very easily. It is quick and easy to set up and I find it quite stable. Very sturdy and well made.

This is my second of this stand I've owned (first one was stolen) and it is so convenient. It fits in the bell of my horn perfectly and holds my soprano securely. I'm not worried about it getting pushed over. It is not as sturdy as a double stand (that would hold both a sop and an alto), but I have found the convenience of the K&M Alto and Soprano stands that fit in the bell to be worth it.

This sax stand is a wonderful piece of German Engineering. No junk here. The part that supports the bell of the sax is coated with a long generous strip of soft fabric placed at 90 degree angles around the base to protect the inside of the horn. The 5 legs of the stand are METAL; no plastic here. The neat thing is that the sax stand for transportation is stored IN THE HORN, IN THE CASE! Once you are ready to play, pull the stand out of the bell, unscrew the base which is attached to the 5 legs, unfold the legs and re-screw the base into the assembly. The legs fold up and fit inside the bell assembly. My Series 3 Selmer Soprano is very very happy. This is a great product with precise German engineering at a fair price.
