Very happy with the K & M stand for my violin. It is very sturdy and takes only a few seconds to set up with a little practice. It is made very well and folds up easily to fit in its carrying bag. I highly recommend this stand.

Stand folds compact and is in a vinyl carrying pouch. Sets up quickly and is adjustable. My violin makes noise when I place it in stand because the padding is hard rubber. Much harder than I would want my instrument in contact with. I bought this because of the bow holder which was very disappointing because it was entirely plastic. I would prefer this stand if the bow holder was made of metal and the protective layer was a soft rubber. Many of the joints of the stand are plastic so I do not now how they will hold up over time.
