Nice solid grommet hand tool that’s pretty straight forward with use IF you’ve used one BEFORE. **No Instructions came with the grommet hand tool**, BUT the sellers ad does include instructions which are pretty handy to view especially if you’re new to using a hand tool like this one.I’m pretty sure the grommet hand tool I was sent is USED as it’s covered with SCRATCHES and RUST all over it! Although the scratches don’t affect the grommet tools functionality, it’s HIGHLY ANNOYING to receive a USED hand tool, especially a rusted one! I do Like the way the tool fits in my hand during use, it’s comfortable while using!The handles on the tool are covered with a material that has some give to it which makes so you’re able to grip it easily during use. I like that I’m able to use to different Two different size grommets with this tool. The grommet tool comes with a 6mm punch as well as a 10mm punch. One punch was already installed on the tool and the other punch was located in a small ziplock baggy. Inside that baggy, you should find a spare set(2)of rubber washers which are Def Handy to have! You’ll want to safe keep the spare washers as they’re really tiny and might be hard to source later if needed! Overall a good grommet hand tool, just a pity it’s all scratched and rusted, Two Stars off for that aspect!

I've used other grommet tools and generally know what I'm doing. Still, did not appreciate the lack of directions in the box. When I went to use it, I thought maybe I was doing something wrong as I wasn't getting the results I expected. Looking at the instructions on the product page I saw that it was supposed to work the way I thought, so it just wasn't working to set the grommets correctly.I only got the tool, not the kit, and thus used it with grommets I had that are the right sizes. Neither the 6mm not 10mm ones were set correctly with this thing. Disappointing.

I've been using the old/cheap way of using a hammer and die. This is a way better option! First, it's more consistent, quieter, and doesn't require a sturdy surface to use like the hammer method. Secondly, it's well made - it's comfortable in the hand and doesn't really rattle or warp. It's aligned properly, and comes with extra heads to accommodate a variety of grommet sizes. It even has suction cup feet if that helps you- I didn't test that aspect because my work bench is wooden. I'd recommend this if you find yourself crafting a bunch of stuff that uses grommets.

I ordered the kit, not just the tool and I literally only got the tool and with no instructions. The tool doesn't seem sturdy to use at all either. It was not worth it to me and it also wasn't a complete set. I cannot recommend this product.

I set it up, used as directed on what would have been a leather cuff and it got stuck. Perma struck. I tried everything I could think of and it's just like it fused shut. Better off with another tool.

I wish it came with a few grommets though. But it did work well for what I needed it for.

This is a great tool for adding solid grommets to any project. I am constantly finding uses for it! It is easy to use and sturdy! It punches through most fabrics easily. It’s solid value!!

This is a really nice grommet kit. I had to try a couple out just to make sure I was doing it right but that's ok. They include a ton of grommets. I grabbed some old towels that I had in the garage and made some instant golf towels. You can clip them or hang them wherever. Make sure you squeeze that handle pretty hard when you use it and the grommets attach perfectly.
