I bought this thinking it could work with my TechZone Stellar X2. It turns out the threading is not the same size as what this is built for. I would've thought that they would've been universal, or perhaps included some kind of adaptor, but I was clearly mistaken. I can still use it as I have a 90 degree locking XLR cable that keeps it pretty secure, but it's not ideal.A decent shock mount otherwise for the price.

I like it but a big issue to the locking knob doesn't work. The threaded hole doesn't go all the way through so the screen sides about a lot.

I got this shockmount for my girlfriend sense giving her my old set up to upgrade for streaming and other projects, which she is happy with it sense don't need to worry on a popfilter thanks to the shield and at2020 fit nicely other then that havnt heard any issue with it and still look how you see it soo it's not loose when tighten it, I think this is a good shockmount for streamers or people who starting using xlr mic although you could get the usb version of it either way happy with the result 😀

I'm not sure if this is standard, but the design blocks access to the earphone input, and microphone adjustment toggle on the side of the AT2020.I'd avoid this if I were you.

Upon first glance, this Knox shock mount looks like a solid alternative to a Rycote mount for those on a budet, but it falls far short of the real thing!First, the plastic construction feels very cheap and the threaded base has difficulty staying tight on my Audio Technica arm, which mounts other accessories just fine. I like the adjustable screen, but the size may be small for some microphones and the attachment method is fairly flimsy. As for actual performance, the screen works well. However, the red "shock absorbing" suspension components are basically as hard and stiff as the rest of the plastic used in the mount, just a different color. This results in little to no actual shock absorption, which is the whole point of a mount like this! The much less expensive, generic steel frame and elastic band mounts actually work better. In the end, my recommendation is to avoid this mount. Save your money, start with the basic shock mount offered by a dozen different sellers here and save up for a real Rycote if you want max performance!

This is a great shock mount...finally people are thinking outside the box of those garbage bulldog clip spider mounts. The pop filter works great and looks so much better than a cumbersome nylon-sock-on-a-gooseneck-from-the-70s blocking your view. The reason I give it 4 stars is due to the fact that it is microphone specific...it seems with only minimal engineering, they can re-work this mount can be made compatible with a ton of large diaphragm condensers. As it is now, it obviously works with the AT2020, but I also tried it (out of curiosity) with a few MXL mics...The external thread on the AT2020 is the same as on MXL, but not all MXL mics have the same "amount" of exposed thread below the barrel. So, this mount worked very well on my MXL R80 ribbon mic, but did NOT work for the MXL V67...the reason being that the R80 has more exposed threads below the barrel of the mic. The image I am attaching shows the unit being used with the R80.

Product is just as listed. Works great and looks great as well. Wish the shock absorbers would be less stiff but it works
