Excellent pan, heats evenly and holds the heat very well. Directions say to use medium heat to extend the life of the coating. You won't need more than medium heat. The handle may heat up a little but no big deal for me...l have a pot holder..lol. perfect size I couldn't be more pleased!

This saucepan performs well, seems to have even heat distribution. We will see how well the nonstick holds up but so far no problems. We did notice that the metal is a bit thinner than some other brands and could be dented if abused.

I bought this based on the picture and description but returned it without using because the body material was too thin for my comfort. The base, however, is thicker, the lid is solid, the metal handle is a plus, and the item overall looks good. It does measure 1 qt, but the shape leads to a small-circumference bottom, which may be too small for some burners.

When I bought this set, I wanted some really inexpensive pans. The three-piece set with lids was $35.99 at the time. I believe that price and expectations should factor into a rating, which is why I gave it five stars. These don't have the same properties as some more expensive pans, and for my purposes, that's totally fine. There are benefits to "cheap" cookware besides just the price. They're less expensive, so they use less metal to make them. More metal means more even cooking. Less metal means they heat up more quickly and they weigh less. I have a heavier pan for delicate stuff, but these cheap pans are just what I need most of the time. They're less expensive, so the handles are shorter. That works for me, because I hang my pots and pans over the sink. With shorter handles, they hang higher. I'm less likely to bang my head on them when I'm washing the dishes. The way the handles are constructed does leave some edges and seams that, while not "sharp", are less comfortable that a more expensive handle. But I don't care about that too much. They're not heavy pans, so they don't really dig into the palm.I got three saucepans for $35.99, with lids. I've had time to use all of them extensively, and they haven't let me down yet. The current price I'm seeing is considerably more. I can't judge how they'd compare with similarly priced cookware at this time. But if you ever see the set get down to around $40, then I strongly recommend you grab it while you can.I can't speak to how they stand up to the dishwasher, as I've gotten out of the practice of putting cookware in the dishwasher. So no promises these.

Great little saucepan for heating soups, milk, sauces, pasta water for 1 or 2 people, gravy and vegetables. Has a rounded bottom inside so makes it very easy to clean with its non stick surface. I also like the fact the lid handle is large and raised above the lid enough that it stays cool and is very easy to lift. A vent is included for steam and the heft of the saucepan feels good in the hand. Also the saucepan handle, although metal, stays cool. Highly recommend.
