While I’m in love with the new look, the package arrived opened, parts were bent with dents and scratches.

The package arrived by UPS. My UPS guy is a lazy one, left the box on the sidewalk, didn't bother to open the gate walk up to the house all of 10 feet and leave it by the door. Folks should know that, and avoid UPS. When Amazon delivers, these folks are always fantastic. So the product arrived, I opened it up. One part had a ding in it, a paint chip about the size on a finger nail. Little bit of sanding and quick spray it will be good as new. So packaging by the manufacturer should have been better. Also, they include instructions, one page, telling you what is very obvious, if you want to level the healdight guards, use shims. But the most important part they don't tell you, is everything else. Like, where to the upper brackets mount to for your truck, what things you need to do to mount them. Nothing, they state easy to install, but at the same time state that professional installation highly recommanded. Imagine going to buy food from some place, and they tell you how great their food is, but they recommand you to get your food elsewhere so you wont get potentially ill. After some thinking I found the way how the upper brackets connect. It wasn't very obvious, as these have a 90 degree bend to be mounted to the main bar, but the faces of the bar and that bracket do not mate properly as the 90 degree bend is only in one dimension, and the other dimension is missing it's 15 degree of so bend. So you'll end up with a small gap. Otherwise, I think the product is qood quality, I would buy it again. Execution by the manufacturer in terms of instuction is non existant, packaging is okay as one of the bars got chipped paint, and manufacturing itself of the upper mounting brackets is missing one bend as the surfaces don't mate properly. You have to remove plastic security expansion mounts from the bumper's lip on both sides, close where the hood rests against rubber bumpers. Once you remove them, you put the bold with the L shaped welded bar under the truck's bumper, put the washer and feed it though that hole with the threads sticking though. The welded bar on that bolt serves as something you can hold while you secure the nut with the proper washer and a ring to prevent it from unscrewing itself. It's all in the pictures. But, to figure that out, it took as while, as the welded bolt with that bar was throwing me off. The seller is very responsive and kind. This is the only reason why I'm giving the product five stars, otherwise I would have taken off a star or two.
