Heavy duty. Was quite easy to install. Hardest part was getting my hand inside to put the mounting plate with the bolts thru the holes. The light bar is bright reducing the need for my high beams, and is positioned low enough to where it isn’t blinding anyone. Only small issue I had was it did not have any additional holes to mount additional lights, so I had to drill 2 holes for the light pods. (Light pods did not come with the bullbar).UPDATE AS OF 8/26/2024: Bullbar and lights have been on for approximately 2 to 3 weeks. There is now moisture buildup in the light bar. The amber pods, which are older and were being used prior to installing the light bar, have no moisture buildup. The light pods were a cheap $20 set for NiLight. Do better rough country. For the cost of the bull bar and light bar, there should be no moisture building at all.

Not only once but twice the replacement had the same poorly fabricated flaw where the light bar wasn’t even close to bolting up,

It’s definitely worth the money, I would suggest if you’re not familiar with wiring I’d seek some help to run the wires for the light bar. It takes about 2 to 3 hours for the complete installation. Just take your time and do it right. Looks great and it’s sturdy . Plus the light is very bright.

The product itself is it good product. This is the second one that I've owned. The first one was in Chrome and on another truck. The worst part is the directions that are supplied. Ultimately you have to go onto YouTube to figure out how to get the grill and the bumper off in order to install the bar. But that is because my truck had tow hooks. The directions are weak. The bar and light are good quality.

I think this bull guard is the best looking one on the market and it doesn't break the bank. It doesn't stick out too far like some I've seen in the past and the integrated LED bar is as functional as it is aesthetically pleasing. Not extremely difficult installation - I probably spent more time wiring in the LEDs than the actual installation of the bar itself. As others have mentioned, use a reciprocating saw to take care of the bolt on the passenger side to save a lot of time and effort. I installed this by myself in probably 2-3 hrs, not really rushing. If you have any background with tools and have a little mechanical ability there should be no issues with the install.

Really like this. It came with a small scratch but cannot be seen to someone walking by.

Very impressed with this bull bar. It was a very easy install on my 2015 Chevy Z71. Only issue I ran into was removing the long bolt on each tow hook. You either have to remove the bumper braces or do like I did and cut the bolt off to get it out. Light bar is extremely bright and harness is very durable. When running the wiring through the firewall do so through the rubber boot directly behind the fuse box. Also I grounded my black wire to the support bar above my battery and ran the hot (red wire) to the positive terminal on the battery. I originally ran my hot wire to the post that's jumped from the hot side of my battery and it caused my driver side window to not function, so don't hook it up there.Hopefully this helps someone with a 14-18 chevy not have to deal with learning the hard way like I did.

This bar was great instructions were not to good but ok, took about 1 1/2 hours to install will need 2 people for sure. But does look great and feels really sturdy. Only issue I have e is in the wiring, instructions ha e you wire it to the battery, in doing so you ha e constant power to the light, so if you forget to turn it off when you park you can kill your battery! I know I've done it twice ! I had to re wire it to an ignition source so it turns off when the key turns off , just keep that in mind! Other than that it adds a great look and seems well built
