There is also a steel sleeve over the cross bar for double security. The lock’s disc-style cylinder with center keyway is protected by a vinyl coating and is pick and drill resistant. The keyway also features a sliding dust cover to protect the cylinder from dirt and debris when not in use. It includes three stainless steel keys with an ergonomic design to reduce torque and keep them from bending or breaking. One of the keys has an LED key fob for added visibility in the dark. I haven’t used this lock yet so will give a proper review in the near future. However as it stands it has a very thick 18mm shackle , it’s going to take some would be thieves a while unless they’ve come with a large industrial grinder, I have a second kryptonite lock although it’s a gold secure and a 110dcb bike alarm, I will park my bike within earshot so hopefully that will deter thieves long enough until I can get to the bike.

Really heavy duty bike lock! So far so good in use in S. CA. Beach city area. I use with another heavy duty lock on my bike (2 total) to discourage anyone trying to steal!

Tbh this is a good lock the only thing is the key cover thingy came off and the paint of the “new york” but i think its because i dont take care of my stuff lol. I dont have any complaints because i dont live in the ghetto but overall good lock.

If you don’t want your bike stolen, get this lock!When I got this lock, it not only looked like a beast and felt like one, but it also had some serious weight to it. Totally worth every penny—super high quality! With the Fahgettaboudit lock, I feel confident no one can steal my bike. I bought it for my (Lectric) e-bike, and it works like a charm.I also love that it comes with multiple keys and that you can register them in case they’re ever lost or stolen. A quick note: if I’m going off-roading or don’t plan to use the lock, I take it off the bike because of the added weight.Overall, 10/10—love it and highly recommend it!

This lock is a huge step up from my old random chain lock I had. The lock has 3 keys total making it very nice in case you lose any and the product feels super secure. I trust this lock to protect my electric scooter for when I take it to school. The lock has some weight to it but nothing that would be considered crazy. I’ve been using it for around 2 months and have zero complaints. The price was a little steep but after using this lock it feels entirely justified and worth spending the money to protect my electric scooter.

It is a very sturdy U-lock but like other reviewers stated, the U part is quite a bit shorter compared to older and other Kryptonite U-lock models. I like that they provide a key with a blue light and I like that the bottom piece can be inserted in either end. Let's see how it goes! It went off to college with my daughter to lock up her bike.

This lock is thick and heavy. My rating for 4 stars is simply because I wish it was a tad bit longer. I wanted to use this to lock my ebike wheel to the frame. It probably would lock to the bike and post.The aventon ebike frame is thick and with the fender in the way, to lock the wheel to the bike, I could only lock the back wheel to the “forks” holding the wheel. It’s thin metal so obviously I would’ve preferred that the wheel lock reached the thicker park of the frame. I am still scared to leave my bike unattended.It is much thicker than my old one.

Es pequeño a diferencia de otros modelos y eso te obliga a ser creativo en la manera en la que aseguras tu bicicleta. Definitivamente es el más. Pesado pero para mi, está perfecto porque, me da una sensación de seguridad en donde sea que ponga mi bici. Tiene tres llaves y una viene con luz. La garantía de por vida es únicamente valida en Canadá y en los United 😂. He visto varios videos en donde sí pueden romperlo pero para eso necesitan algún tipo de sierra. Totalmente recomendable. A pesar del precio elevado estoy satisfecho con este candado.

I had my motor scooter stolen last year. The thief cut the u lock I had on it. So after looking at many reviews I decided to go with this one and a 16mm chain so now the weak point in the slightly "smaller" chain lol. This u lock is massive and very heavy so keep that in mind. But it does fit under my seat with plenty of room for gear. After owning the lock for over a year and having it out in the rain and extreme hot/cold it still functions as if it was new. I do put a drop of 3 in 1 lube in the key hole every few months but its has never given me trouble like other disk detainer mechanisms I've had in the past. This lock also has the updated core that has more disks and they tension off a disk father in, instead of the first disk making it harder to pick. But honestly nobody is going to be picking it.

Voici ce que je pense sur cet antivol :- la robustesse : Cet antivol a l'air super résistant. Il inspire vraiment confiance avec son epaisseur. Le voleur qui s'attaque à ca doit vraiment être un pro ! L'antivol a le poids qui va forcément avec son calibre mais cela ne me dérange pas du tout vu que je le transporte dans mon panier de vélo.- la taille : Il est vraiment petit, donc personellement, je n'arrive pas à fixer la roue et le cadre à un point fixe. Du coup je fixe uniquement le cadre.- la garantie : L'antivol comprend une garantie gratuite pendant un an qui rembourse le vélo si jamais il se fait voler. J'ai enregistré mon vélo sans soucis et ca rassure (il faut la facture du vélo par contre).- appréciation globale : J'utilise cet antivol depuis le 26/11/2018 et pour le moment tout va bien. Le seul petit bémol est sa petite taille. J'essaierai de mettre à jour ce commentaire si jamais mon vélo se fait voler.
