I ordered this for a specific setup that I had, and it's exactly as described in measurements and the pictures. no disappointment at all this fits my requirement and need. needs little oiling for the joints to move and pull in and out but everything else works perfectly. the tray could be tilted to the right, or left and also upwards and down. while I work I change my posture alot I lean back sometimes and or I sit straight, this is really perfect to how I planned to setup my desk.

This is the first keyboard try I've purchased so I can't say how others compare. I chose this, despite the low ratings, because of the Q&A where the manufacturer said this could be trimmed to size. I have a small space between my my table's legs so it was impossible to find something exactly the right size. I have yet to actually do this, but it seems to be a composite board so I don't see why I wouldn't be able to to trim and sand it.Installation was fairly easy, although the instructions leave a little to be desired. Because of my tight space, I had to mark the holes with the whole tray installed, which was tricky to do alone. It would be helpful if the instructions included a screw template for pilot holes. The instructions also failed to mention a few things:- When you connect the tray to the mechanism, you will need to use TWO washers, otherwise it will be very wobbly (instructions don't mention washers at all, but they are included).- My instructions said to use 6 screws to attach to desk, but in fact should be 8- There was no mention of the little plastic bumpers when it said to remove the bumper screws. Make sure you grab those so they don't go rolling away when you take out the screws.- There was no mention of the plastic pieces that go on the inner rails. Make sure you put them back on when you reinstall the mechanism to the railing. Mine barely fit into the rails and I kind of had to shove them in - but I think this is a good thing so you don't accidentally push in the tray as you're typing.- Instructions on how to mount the mouse tray were not very clear and could use an extra picture.I was very disappointed at first because even the slightest pressure made my tray tilt and fall even with the latch engaged. I realized that with the latch engaged, I needed to tighten the other end of the bolt. Hopefully this doesn't become a regular problem but is an easy enough fix if it becomes loose again. Would have been nice to have this in the instructions because I was ready to uninstall and send it back!Typing is slightly bouncy but I only notice it when i'm looking at the board, not through feel. Although I have issues with the mouse pad (see below), the trade off is that the keyboard tray is centered perfectly with the sturdy mount. I think on larger trays where you can have the mouse and keyboard on one tray, your keyboard would be off center and wobble more. The mouse tray is my biggest gripe with this thing:- Because it is so far off to the side, it wobbles a lot more than the rest - not a complete deal breaker but it is annoying- Even when fully installed and tightened, it sags off to the side. It is attached to the keyboard with long bars so you can adjust it farther away if you desire. The problem with this is that the holes that the bars go into are too big, so it hangs down a bit. The tightening bolt keeps the bars from sliding in and out, but it doesn't tighten them into a perfectly horizontal position.- The angling mechanism on the mouse tray needs some work. It is way too easy to tilt it accidentally with the weight of your hand.- A couple reviews complained about the mouse not being flush with the keyboard - those all appear to be older reviews for an older version. It is now flush (aside from the sagging issue). They should really update their pictures and video to show the new product. This didn't change my rating at all, but the tray had weird grease marks all over it. I'm not sure if it was used or just someone with greasy hands handling it before packing. Nothing a quick Clorox wipe couldn't get rid of, but still kind of gross.Note: one reviewer complained about the lower mechanism hitting their knees. This could potentially be a problem if you're tall and you like your tray pretty low toward your lap. I'm a 5'5" female and my knees are no where near it. If i'm in a weird position, I occasionally hit the bars connecting the mouse tray, but shouldn't happen in a normal ergonomic sitting position.Update: I did finally trim the keyboard with a table saw and and it worked perfectly. The edge is no longer black but could be painted if it bothers you. I’ve had the tray for about a year and I still agree with everything I said above. I’ve had to tighten the screws connecting the tray to the mechanism several times but the rest of the screws have held tight.

I bought this for my new workbench. The footprint and design really catch my eyes. I like the simplicity of this tray. What surprised me opening the box was the fingerprints all over. The box seemed to be previously opened and used. You basically lose two points one for this and one for the cons section as I mention some disadvantages.Pros:- Nice design- Easy to install- Easy to adjust the high, angle and distanceCons:- Shipped used product- The keyboard tray is studdy but the mouse tray is flimsy. There is a cam lever handle for the main tray but only a knob to screw the mouse tray in place which you cannot hand tie it and makes the mouse tray swivel. You don't want the user to use a wrench to fasten it in place.Things to improve:- I like to be able to tilt the tray as well.- It could be a nice smooth distance adjustment with ball bearing sliding rails instead of plastic vs. metal sliding rails like now. I had to use some grease to make it slide easily without noise.

I bought this as an upgrade to a very cheap (but functional) under-the-table mount for working at home. This one is much more sturdy, and much more adjustable to my needs. The previous one just slid out horizontally. This one slides out and then easily adjusts height, and the important part of that for me is that it allows me to put the keyboard higher than table top so I can easily fit my legs under the table. That makes it perfect for me. I found it quite easy to install, but I have a drill and the table was easy access. Installation absolutely requires a rill, but I can't think of any better alternative so I still gave "Easy to Install" a '4'.NOTE:I read a few of the reviews from a few years back, and I'd have to say that the product must have been updated since then. To comment on a few negative points I read...1, There was certainly no need to make the mounting holes larger.2. The mouse tray has two level settings, one puts the mouse tray horizontally at the same level as the keyboard.3. It is quite sturdy overall; however I can't disagree that the adjustment mechanism for the mouse tray could be friendlier.

Needed a keyboard tray that fitted under the dimensions of my desk but also had the ability to rise, tilt, and swivel. As this was the only one I could find that met my requirements and wasn’t massive I ordered it.Being a UK customer it took a while to arrive from New York but when it came I was very impressed with the solid build quality of the product, a lot heavier than I expected. Does everything I would like it to do, and the fact the mouse holder is an optional extra is another bonus. The only negative I must point out is that some moving parts where a bit stiff when they arrived but a quick spray with some WD 40 fixed these.

This is a very good quality keyboard tray. The parts are made with either laminated wood for the shelves and solid steel for the hardware. The only minor was that one of the plastic stoppers, that stops the tray from sliding any further inward, was broken in piece. But I managed to replace the broken part with similar shape and size of cylinder made of nylon (sturdier). The kit is easy to put together and install. Installation might require a second set of hands to hold the assembly in place while someone else is driving the screws into the table/desk/counter.Would recommend to anyone.
