I use it to control a small heater. I have it set to between 74-78 during the day and at night between 64-68 and it works like a charm.

i use these on space heaters set to 750w each to help heat up my RV in the winter time so i'm not burning through so much propane in the winter (i am full time)these work just fine with celcius right out the box and they even had enough charge to set the mode and thermostat settings before i even plugged them in! they are fully adjustable down to the 10th decimal place which is more than most thermostats.the instruction manual is a nice little booklet, no road map! fairly easy to navigate around and not messythe thermoprobe, while non detachable, is quite long. works fine to get it where you need it to go. they both seem accurate enough out of the box and offer easy adjustment if you're not happy with the stock calibration.the only minor nit pick is the blue led, but it's very dim and is fine to live with tbh. i much prefer this to 99% of blue leds out there, but perhaps a green or red led would have been a better pick.the lack of backlight is nice for sleeping with, but makes them a bit hard to read unless you have a straight on viewing angle and/or a light. not too bad in my situation but something to note.all and all a good pick for my use case

If you use these for something on a reg basis (for example 2-3 times a week, 4-5 hours at a time) they will stop working after about 3 months. I’ve bought dozens of these for my business and they all eventually quit working. Be prepared for this.

My wife and I bought this to control a low wattage (less than 500 watts) space heater in our boat. We could not find a low wattage heater that had a built-in thermostat so we tried this. It works very well. You set an "on" temperature and an "off" temperature and it turns the space heater on and off within that range. It's much more accurate than a dial on the typical space heater. The instructions are pretty well written but it took a few minutes (about 10) to figure out how to get it set up. Now that it's set up, it's working perfectly. We are enjoying a comfortable boat as I'm writing this. It will also work with an air conditioner if needed.

Easy to setup. Easily powers an oil heater. Really saves money. Prior to purchasing this controller I would turn the heaters on in cold weather. Now I plug them in to the controller and the heaters are only on when the temperature gets near freezing. So far they have operated flawlessly.

I replaced a couple Thermocubes that failed with this. It's controlling three 250 watt heat lamps.Seems to be accurate enough, comparing current temps to a VERY reliable analog thermometer.It was pretty easy to set up...once I read through the instructions for a few minutes. I've only been using it for about 3 weeks, so I don't know how it will perform over an entire winter.At this point, I would recommend it.
