I really like that the block is clear so I can easily see which knife I'm picking up. The flexible top can accommodate slim or thick steak knives, thick or thin kitchen shears, carving knives of various thicknesses. I "reverse inherited" a wooden knife block from one of my adult children and lived with its awkward sizing and limited number of slots. I wish I had bought this 20 years ago!

Though the product is plastic, the plastic is thick enough to feel durable. This is a nice looking way to display knives. The accordion-like insert that the knives slide into is removeable and can be easily cleaned, as can the top and bottom of the container. This holds our six kitchen food prep knives, including two chef knives and various others with room to hold more. Sliding knives in and out is easy, but they will sometimes touch the inside of the container as you put them in if you don't guide them carefully, but that hasn't caused any problems for us.

I have a random assortment of different knives and different brands. This one holds almost all of them except my cleaver. One of my best kitchen purchases!1. It takes up very little space, especially compared to a wood knife block. I also don’t have many drawers in my little kitchen, so now I can save room by putting the knives on the counter.2. It’s clear so I can see exactly which knife I’m pulling out. You can’t always tell by the handle.3. It holds more knives than you think. I can still fit more in it.4. It has never tipped over. It’s brilliantly weighted on the bottom.5. It is easy to clean.It doesn’t look fancy so if that is important to you, this isn’t it. But I value function over aesthetics so it is perfect for me. It’s also just plastic so I am sure that it could break if dropped, but I never move it around in my house.

El producto es perfecto. Me ha gustado todo de él. Voy a comprar otro para una casa que alquilo. El tamaño es perfecto. Se apoya bien y es muy seguro. Se ven los cuchillos lo cual permite escoger el más adecuado para cada momento. Las dimensiones son adecuadas. En estos momentos hay siete cuchillos y una tijeras, y aún caben tres cuchillos más. Lo recomiendo sin duda.

Eccellente, facilissimo da pulire. Il fatto che è trasparente rende semplice la scelta del coltello da utilizzare. Poco ingombrante e con un design semplice ma che si adatta bene ad ogni stile di cucina. Forse un po' caro per il materiale con cui è fatto. Comunque lo consiglio.

Ich war schon lange Zeit auf der Suche nach einer Aufbewahrungsbox für meine neuen Messer. Ich kannte bis jetzt nur die Holzblöcke. Zuerst war ich eher skeptisch was die Stabilität angeht. Aber dieser Messerblock hat mich wirklich überzeugt. Die Gummifüße halten den Block stabil auf jeder Unterlage. Auch meine 10 Messer finden ihren Platz - und was gut ist, es passen noch mehr Messer in die Lamellen (die Messer muss man separat kaufen). Alle üblichen Messermodelke sind geeignet. Ich gehe auch davon aus, dass man den Block gut reinigen kann. Die Lamellen sind wie eine Harmonika rausziehbar. Der Messerblock ist schon ein Blickfang in meiner Küche. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

It's a great product, well made as usual with this brand. It has larger slots than regular blocks making the storage of wider bladed knives easier. It's more stable than you think it will be, even when full. I bought this as a gift for my better quality knives, to keep them from arguing with those of lesser breeding whilst stored in the earlier version which is slim line but didn't take my wide bladed knife. However, I didn't realise they were such snobs!! They fit so snugly in their new home that they won't leave it without a struggle and I need two hands to prize them out for use!!!! I can only fit nine knives of various sizes in the block at present, it's new and stiff, so I daresay with use and age, it will get easier to use. The slots in the earlier version have adapted to the shape of the contents therefore I recommend this product, it doesn't disappoint.

We picked this product after hours of research online for the best universal knife block.The PROS outweigh the cons:-Simple design doesn't stand out. The glass and black trimming blend in with our black granite kitchen counter and wall.-Seems easy to clean, although we haven't yet. The black piece at the bottom pops off. We dry our knives completely before storing them, so we don't anticipate having to clean the block very often.-Good value for the price, especially considering how expensive nice knife blocks can be.The CONS are several annoyances, but nothing too serious:-Small 3.25" paring knife fits loosely unless you lodge it into the ends closer to the glass where the rubber is tighter and the knife doesn't move around and hit the glass. Not really a problem for us since we only have 10 knives in it; just kind of a hassle when you stick a knife there and it hits plastic so you have to find a new place for it...also probably not great for a knife edge.-I'm 5'3" (short) and it feels just a tad too high for me, since the knives are stored vertically (or almost vertically) unlike a traditional slanted knife block.SUMMARY: We're very happy with the product. The pros outweigh the small cons, which may or may not apply to some people. It occurred to us that it would be nice if they sold another size that's a little longer to store more knives, but it probably wouldn't be as well balanced if it were.

Very practical and contemporary looking. For me, this is a better option than the traditional bulky knife block. It is easy to insert and take out kitchen knives and scissors (holds most sizes of knives, except for the extra, extra long knives). The block is sturdy, yet light weight and easy to move around. This is not glass, but clear acrylic with a cardboard-type insert in the black top to separate knives and hold them safely and securely. Easy to clean acrylic. It also looks great on my kitchen counter as I prefer a clean, more modern look in my kitchen.
