These have become a valuable tool for a wide range of lifting tasks. Whether it’s door panels, wall tiles, appliances, drywall, or cabinets, these jacks handle the job with ease. With a lifting range of up to 6 inches and an impressive load capacity of 440 lbs, they’re incredibly versatile. I tested them on both a very heavy media center and a bulky dresser, and they performed well, lifting both without little struggle. They remained reasonably stable while in the lifted position, which was reassuring. The base and lifting face are pretty small and compact but still seem to do well despite how small they are. A bigger face and base would make it more stable and give you even more lifting capabilities but would be more cumbersome. The construction of these jacks is pretty great. They’re made entirely of metal, with durable springs that seem built to last, and there’s not a single piece of plastic in sight. The integrated ruler on the shaft is a thoughtful detail that adds convenience, and the adjustable height feature makes operation smooth and straightforward. I especially like that the release mechanism includes two triggers—one for a slow, controlled descent and another for a quicker release. This dual control adds a level of precision that’s appreciated.Another surprising feature is the ability to orient the jacks for clamping tasks. This dual-purpose functionality is a nice touch and adds to their versatility. Just keep in mind there are no anti-marring pads anywhere on this product so clamping will damage the work surface without additional protection added by the user. They include a hook for storage. On the downside, I did notice that the base lacks anti-marring pads, which was a bit disappointing, especially since one of the listing photos shows otherwise. Without these pads, you’ll want to be careful using them on more delicate surfaces to avoid scratches. Keep in mind this affects lifting as well because the lifting surface is just metal, that could be slick. There’s no rubber to grip the object. This is the main reason I subtracted a star from the review. Additionally, the handles could use an overmold for added comfort—they’re not bad as is, but some cushioning would’ve been a welcome improvement.Despite these drawbacks, I’m happy with these jacks. They’ve proven to be a lifesaver for heavy appliance work, saving my back and making what used to be daunting tasks more manageable. While the price tag is on the higher side, the quality seems to match the cost. If you can wait for a sale, it’s better. At the time of review they are priced at $50 with a minor coupon available. I would recommend these.

These jacks do a great job. They are strong - made of good quality metal and components. They are stable - no 'slack' or unexpected movement, they lift a lot of weight but don't feel like they'll tip. They're precise - controlling height, both up and down, can be done to the exact spot you want, and there's a built in ruler to help. These can help hold a cabinet while I level/shim. They are great for holding a sheet of drywall in place while I measure/cut/screw it in place. The lifting arms have an all-metal surface. Be careful what/where you lift so it doesn't leave a mark.Review for: Labor Saving Arm Jack, Stainless Steel 15.6 Inch Furniture Lifter for Drywall, Door Panels, Cabinets, 2 PackASIN: B0DCBBLPGZ
