Product Description

Everything we make is built with purpose; we’ve been doing it that way for over a century. This is true even knowing that every new pair of boots we send out into the world is by nature unfinished. Only when they're worn in the toughest conditions Mother Nature can dish out, do they earn their name.

From the Manufacturer

Do one thing and do it right. For over a century, that’s what we’ve been doing — making the best rubber boots. Period. Boots that won’t let you down. Boots that know a thing or two about toughness, durability, and comfort. Whether for hunting, working, or tending the land upon which they tread, our boots give you the freedom to focus on what matters most to you. Because that’s what matters most to us

They almost hold up an entire trapping season for me. Cheap boots don’t last 3 weeks.

Purchased for my son coming home from a 1 year deployment for Christmas. He came home and they didn't fit, not a problem right? Fine print states it was too long of a time from receiving, so now I'm have a $100.00 pile of rubber that I cannot take bak. Pleaded my case to the co. They shut me down! Never again & the publicity I've given them seeing I'm a vet also will NEVER end. It would never cost them a penny!!!!!!! Very upset vet, fisherman, hunter and father of 5.

As a Land Surveyor, I find myself surveying in swamps and creeks quite often. Here in Central VA, swamps mean briars. These boot have held up well. They have a thickened knee patch which helps for pushing through thick areas. They are stiffer than normal Hip Boots and don't need to be tied to your belt to keep them up. They stay in place on their own. I ordered them the same size that I order my regular boots...one size larger than my normal shoe size. Then I add an insole with good arch support. Then they fit perfectly with a good pair of Smart Wool socks. The boots have a wool liner in them, so no problem working in 20 degree weather. My feet never get cold. Good Boots....I highly recommend these.

I am a hunter in Upstate New York, and spend hours sitting still in low temperatures--it was 25 degrees this afternoon. The creek was low enough today that the hip waders would do, so out I trudged. I own a pair of chest waders made by another manufacturer that are rated at 1000g of Thinsulate, and these LaCrosse 200g waders out performed those by a mile. My feet are routinely cold, because I froze them a few years ago, and I didn't feel any cold discomfort after a long 3 hour sit in these hip waders. Quite comfortable, and roomy enough for thick socks, even in my exact size. As a side note, all of the insulation is in the boot, with heady duty rubber above mid-calf. Completely dry, warm, and satisfied!

These boots are highly rated for their durability. They are real rubber and are insulated. I looked at a pair at a retail store and liked them but did not buy them at the time. I looked them up and found them on amazon. I purchased them from the vendor Shoe Buy, the company was happy to take my money and not get me the boots. They were never received and I am still dealing with this scamming company to get a refund. I took vacation time to use these boots to do some work in lakes. Do Not BUY ANYTHING FROM SHOE BUY they will take your money and tell you that they cannot refund anything until they do an investigation. it has been over two weeks since I was supposed to have received them. Amazon should ban merchants that engage in such fraud. I am sure amazon will make it right, but I won't risk buying anything from shoebuy again. I ended up buying a pair through a legitimate merchant and they are great. Warm and dry, a bit heavy but that comes along with a thick rubber boot. I cant speak for their longevity but I have crossed fences, worked in beaver ponds and went through thick brush and no leaks.
