Item arrived in good condition and plain packaging with a cellophane wrapped blow mold case. The case is a nice touch but would be better if the hinges were pinned as the plastic hinge will eventually break from fatigue and the lid will separate.The tool offers many different solutions. Compared to my old school HF and Lisle designs, this is more versatile and offers a ratcheting action with a slim ratchet wrench included. The nub on the main handle also has an O-ring in a groove to help lock it in place. Wish they would have included extra O-rings as I see this a future failure point.Comes with squares, sockets and crow's-feet. The vast majority of what I have come across are 3/8" squares but nice to have the options.The one thing I think could have been better is if the bar had the ability to connect, by itself and slim to a 3/8" square. The bar is really only leverage with the ratcheting wrench and with a 7/8" 6 point stud, it really is only good with this kit.In certain applications I can see it as a more versatile solution but I also want to keep my old HF set as I can reach in with a single long tool/bar and grab a 3/8" square hole on a tensioner. For the simple ones, this is a bit more fussy with all the pieces.

I recently needed to replace a very hard to reach belt tensioner. I had a simple serpentine tool that I was unable to get to the bolts with,(what a dilemma). This is the serpentine belt tool that is needed to do I think about any belt removal job. This tool is well made and has all the adapters and crowfoot wrenches needed to get into about any space. The included ratchet wrench is nice and has very close incremental movements for tight areas. The 14 inch bar is sturdy with a nice rubber covered handle and comes in a storage box.

these are some old school design tools with very high quality and they work! if you have trump-type hands, you're gonna need all the help you can get in tight spaces. these fit the bill. they also have a rubber gasket on the bar to - well, i'm not sure why it's there, frankly. seems useless but certainly makes it look rich.the overall tool design was well thought out and provides extreme versatility. it's borderline overkill in a very good way. the tools feel hefty and inspire confidence. the rachet function is fine grained, which allows for more effective turning when space is limited.look, changing a belt especially on some gm cars will make you bleed. it's extremely tight and not a fun job. i went through the motions with this tool set and my next run is gonna be a breeze. so yeah, i highly recommend these. also, the pics don't do justice as the chrome is highly polished and smooth. i rarely rate items with 5 stars, but given a choice these would get a 6.

As a professional automotive technician, I have replace hundreds if not thousands of belts. A tool like this is one of the best for automatic tension belt systems. This kit appears to be modeled after a better known "wrench" brand that I already own. The kit comes housed in a nice plastic case that features metal latches. The kit includes sockets, open end wrench and square drive adapters to accommodate most tensioners on most vehicles. The beauty of this style tool is the ratcheting wrench and the handle which can be indexed to make the correct angle in a tight spot. The quality is very good and the price is good (especially with a coupon that is usually offered) making this a 5 star product.
