The tapping block is absolutely necessary to not damage your pieces and their locks - could use more clips but it works for my current project which is a 700sq install.

The 21-piece Laminate Flooring Installation Kit is quite handy for DIY flooring projects. The kit includes a tapping block with a comfortable handle and 20 versatile 2-in-1 spacers (1/4” & 1/3”), which work well for consistent spacing. The tapping block is sturdy and the spacers are easy to set and adjust, making the installation process smoother. However, I wish it came with a pull bar, as it would be beneficial for tight spots where extra leverage is needed. Adding a pull bar would make this a more comprehensive set.
