The formula is designed for stable color development to allow adequate time for the user to match very distinct colors along with preventing cross-contamination between pads. Insta-Test Pool 4 Plus test strip measures Free Chlorine (0 - 10 ppm), Bromine (0 - 20 ppm), pH (6.2 - 9.0) and Cyanuric Acid (0 - 250 ppm). The waterproof pop-top bottle with desiccant liner protects the strips from moisture intrusion. There are 50 strips per bottle with English, French, and Spanish instructions.

These strips are exactly what I need for regular water testing in my pool. Colors seem a little more discernible than other strips I have used. For whatever reason I always struggle a little with interpreting the PH reading no matter what brand of strips that I use.

I keep a laminated card out in the spa to compare to the dip stick. Hate making multiple card ever time my local spa store gets in a new brand.

These are the best pool test strips I've found. They are very fast (instant) and very accurate. I've tried others, but they're much slower and not as accurate. Just sent some junky impostors back for a refund and bought more of these.

Had to return!!! The chlorine didn't register at all. Only gave one star because at least other chemistry worked ok. Waste!

On the plus side, these strips are incredibly easy to use, and produce better results than my more complicated walmart test kit. They also test CYA, which is the main reason I bought them in the first place. FC measures up to 10, which is pretty good, and is fairly easy to distinguish along the scale. On the downside, it's tough to get more than a general idea of the other tests (pH, TA, CYA) due to similar colors or a wider range between key values. Overall, good for quick FC testing and getting a general idea of where your pool's at otherwise.
