it'saheavier duty net the the last one I order. It'slarge enough for fluke. the nets comes with a cover that will blow over board and will sunk to the bottom and wash up on the beach or someone drift fishing will catch it and asked who place in there ocean,I blame it on bad sale-mans given you something with no used. 1 the zipper will rust and you'll have to cut it off. The springs behind the silver balls that locks the handle to the net frame wouldn't last in salt water, fresh water will last longerThe adjustable handle should last two years before the alunman starts to corrode and you'll put a small screw or rivet into it . if you use some vaseline on the inside after taken all apart to do some prevented last in salt water maintenance before the first trip. remember a boat rag to clean your hands or I might lose a pole and reel. if your gunnel are 2 and the haft feet from the surface of the water I only have ti extend the handle rod 1 foot to net most of our fish. The net seems strong enough for a 8 pound fluke and 10 oz weigh. can't wait till may to try itour last net fall in to Davy's Jones locker and when I meet him he's going to have a lot of stuff to return.

This is a well made net.Strong and sturdy handle, netting doesn't catch hooks, big net bag handles sizeable fish.We have been using it for netting redfish. 36"-45" fish are not a problem for this net.I recommend.**One note is the handle was a different color than expected, something between pink and red. No big deal though.

My first impressions of this net are it seems well constructed and it would be able to hold some pretty good sized fish like a monster musky. I actually was thinking of my brother who has worked for a major fishing boat builder for a few decades now and who has a pretty nice fishing boat up in MN. I think he would really like this net for when he went after muskies but it would be overkill for anything else up there because this net is large. I do like how the handle telescopes out and it felt firm and sturdy once the two push button things snapped into place. It is easily pushed back in by pressing those two buttons too. The net is different then anything I ever felt before with the rubber coating. It feels durable and strong but I have not put it through the real test yet. I think it would be important to spray this off after use in salt or brackish waters as I think that would help it last longer. It does require space for storage and one thing I did not like was the skimpy carrying/storage case made out of the lightest material possible. The handle with finger grooves made my grip feel solid too. Overall without putting it through the wringe yet I feel this is a solid net for those expeditions when you are going after larger fish, again I'm thinking Muskies or salmon but only because I am more familiar with the fish up north and inland. A little treat is the jigs they threw in. As far as value this was listed at just under $100.00 and that I am uncomfortable with by a long shot.

This works great to catch chickens and the soft, plastic mesh doesn't hurt their feathers or tangle. It's excellent.

I took the picture of the next to the fridge for perspective of the size of this thing. The net part is made of some sort of rubber that seems durable and it comes with a nice carrying cover. I bought it to catch a rogue rooster in my backyard so I have no idea if the pole would actually support the weight of a giant fish.
