Strips the coating from the pipe but not enough to make space for the union to be clear of the pipe flaring tool. Tried taking the stop out but still not really hitting the spot. Sorry.

Possibly the best wee tool I have ever bought. Takes 5mm of plastic coating off brake pipes very neatly. Saves a lot of hassle with sandpaper
