- Enlarged reception space provides a smaller divergence angle in the laser measurement, increasing quality and consistency.
- Rayleigh length of a laser beam is the distance along the propagation direction of a beam from the waist to the place where the cross section's area is doubled. This number shows how focused the laser beam is to the depth of focus. Longer Rayleigh length decreases the angle of divergence, which improves the quality.

Love the laser function, 10/10 on that. I do wish the tape measure was longer and tougher, and easier to read. I have to carry a bigger tape while using this for the laser. Still really like the laser tho.

Add gave the impression that he actual tape measurement was displayed digitally. It is not, just the laser. Making it useless for my application.

I've used traditional tape measures before, and I always worried about the ruler snapping back and possibly injuring my fingers. However, with this laser tape measure, the ruler can be locked in place, and when I need to retract it, I just click a button—no worries at all. Plus, it automatically reads the measurements for me, making it incredibly convenient.The user manual was also very helpful, answering all my questions, such as where to insert the battery and how to switch between units.

En menuiserie, je n'ai pas encore trouvé l'utilité de ce laser là. Par contre j'ai bien aimé la double unité de mesure sur les 2 faces du ruban.

There is slight misprint in descrescription. I bought this item knowing tht it give display of measurement. However it only give display of laser measurement, which was not my main feature for buring this item.

i didn't even know there was such a thing and purchased it for my Father in law who has pretty much everything well low and behold he didn't have this! hahaha found a tool he now uses all the time drove my mother in law nuts as he would measure the distance in between them or others (covid must i say more) anyhow i would say this is a recommendation! also what to say we recently lost my mother in law god rest her soul she was the heart of the Family and will be forever missed..
