Perfect volume, great tone, easy to hold, looks bomb proof, however why only 4 stars? Because LP, as good as their instruments are , apparently doesn't care about customer satisfaction. The maracas came with a very visible bar code sticker on one of the handles that must have been affixed with super glue. It took a full 30 minutes of Goo Gone treatment to get the darn thing off. I expect more from a quality manufacturer and a relatively ( for its kind) high end product.

Maracas dalle dimensioni standard; il suono è leggermente più morbido di quelle in plastica, molto più gradevole. Vista la differenza di prezzo non elevatissima rispetto a quelle in plastica di pari dimensioni (si trovano tante economiche ma più piccole), lo considero un’ottimo acquisto anche per I non professionisti come il sottoscritto.Sono corredate da un bel sacchetto in tessuto.

The Rawhide maracas are great, the sound comes through with that old fashion flavor that I recall when my father used maracas that were hand made of hide, their sound is dry and it penetrates any band including big bands, I'm performing with them and I'm happy with my choice. I also have the rawhide maracas with the Puerto Rican Flag painted on them, ''but'' they are heavier and the sound is not as pure as the plain rawhide.
