** THIS IS NOT A SUB FOR VET RECOMMENDATIONS **My cat has had a urinary blockage before that needed to be surgically removed. After digestion issues with multiple brands of perscription food, I switched him to the 4 treat a day dosage and paired it with a low magnesium wet food that he could tolerate. No more vomitting and diarrhea! He is gaining back his lost weight at a healthy rate.No issues after a month, recent urinalysis after a month of taking it shows no crystals in urine. You still should be feeding wet and offering fresh water 24/7. In addition, a urinary formula is best.The active ingredient, primarily d-mannose, is what is in a lot of perscription cat foods. This helps keep the urine at a (struvite) crystal dissolving pH. You absolutely need to pair this with lots of water. My cat does not always eat them on their own, but has no issues if I crumble it and mix it into wet food. 2 in the morning, 2 at night. Add a bit of extra water to keep a good consistency. It is important to split the dosage for steady absorption. It crumbles very easily, this is a soft treat.This is not a replacement for vet recommendations. This is an ancidotal review. I have been giving this supplement after research with approval from my vet to try a different wet food due to food intolerances. If your cat is dealing with crystals - please follow vet recommendations if possible. Regular urinalysis tests are a must if you are going a non-traditional route.Side note - his litter box seems to stay less smelly now. Pee amount remains the same but it does not smell as strongly.

This product has a great list of ingredients. The container is bigger than I expected and container arrived quite full. The treats are a little bigger in size when compared to other treats we have given our cat in the past. Our cat seems to really like this product. I would purchase this product again. Well priced and recommended.
