This is basically the same quality as the ones we got from Schnieders Saddlery which is an Amish company and their products are outstanding. We use these daily for our 100lb+ German Shepherds. They are comfortable in the hand and are well oiled the day you get them. They age and wear like a nice set of Harness Reins if you know what those are. 100% recommend! This is a product which will last for years if not decades.

I was excited to have a leather leash but only one side was smooth. The unfinished side wasn't comfortable to hold. I returned this item.

I'm a professional dog trainer by trade and these leashes have served me well over the years as well as made all my clients who picked one up satisfied. Simple design, sturdy craftsmanship and soft leather all make this leash one that will last(unless chewed!) and don't burn your hands if your dog decides to take off after a squirrel or is reactive

6’ leather leads have always been my preference. I ordered one from this company seven years ago and it continues to perform brilliantly.This newer lead appears to be of equal quality leather and just as important sturdy stiching and clasp.
