These lights are great! I love them. Highly recommend. I zip tied them to my spokes

Installation: pull the loop up where you need it and then push the battery pack through. Don’t try to stretch the loop over the battery pack while holding the battery pack in place. You will need zip ties or tape, the clips on the edge of the light strips will not last. That said, I actually love these lights. They function as described. The entire wheel lights up with fairly complete coverage at a fairly low speed. You can opt for solid, flashing, or changing fancy-pants patterns—something for everyone. If they fail in a short period of time, I will change my review, but I feel like these lights are the best option for night riding.

I live in a building that bikes need to be hung on a hook. So lights that wrap around the rim of the wheel would be damaged. This design is 3 sticks that are attached to the spokes. Perfect design when you need to hang your bike on a hook on its wheel. They look great, nice choice of colors. The design is robust. The installation required a lot of pushing on the LED area, I was VERY worried I damaged them during installation. Nope, they work perfectly. Well designed for durability!!!!!!!Edit update: I dropped it one star down to 4 stars. I bought 2 sets (2 bikes, 4 wheels). One unit the blue color stopped working, and some of the yellow is beginning to fail. However, I love them and I will likely order another of the same. I got a solid six months use before the failure.

I'm fairly impressed by the brightness of these lights and the ease with which they're installed. They simply click onto the spokes of the wheels... but they've popped off a couple of times already. Luckily they didn't get stuck in the wheel hub, which could ultimately throw someone from their bike. Only 2 stars because the wheel is completely imbalanced due to the design of the battery pack. Anything fastser than 15 mph causes the wheel to violently wobble at times... which is VERY scary when in heavy traffic. These lights aren't very safe... I will not be recommending them to anyone.

My kids are .. dangerous. They're prone to stepping into traffic, riding their bikes into traffic and somehow finding traffic where there isn't any traffic. In an effort to try to keep them alive, and satiate the wife's need for "safety", I found these. Well, first I found those other ones that wrap in and out of the spokes and, like any good father, I wasted two hours of my life installing them on four wheels/two bikes, only to have the kids break them the first time they hung them on my (also purchased and reviewed on Amazon) wall mount bike racks. Y'know the ones that hold the front wheel?Anyhow, those were terrible. It actually took me longer to remove the old ones (with a pair of wire cutters because there's NO WAY I'm going to waste any more time with those) than to install these. At first, they seemed to be fighting me. They weren't interested in going on the spokes but, after I got the hang of it, I could have created a pretty solid bit of YouTube content with a "how to" video. I'm that good. So, go ahead, buy these and stop looking at the ones that go all the way around the wheels. You're welcome.

UPDATED: can not recommend this at all. Took less then 1 month to stop working. Clips for the spikes cracked and won’t stay on. On one set, an entire set of lights stopped working. On the other- they don’t light up the same color. Save your time and money, I got suckered for youThe lights work good. But the plastic that’s supposed to clip on the spokes breaks very easily. And it would be better if the motion sensor had a light sensor- no need for them in during daytime rides, and a little annoying to have to do it manually all the time.

1/20/23I only did about 15 miles with these and so far I've had no issues. For the price, you get 1 set for each wheel. There are 9 colors and 4 settings as far as I can tell. You can set each wheel on 1 solid color, 1 blinking color, multi-color blinking(fast), and multi-color blinking(slow). You can set the front wheel solid and the rear wheel blinking and vice versa. You press and hold the power button for 2 sec to turn them on/off. When you leave the bike stationary for about 2 minutes, the lights turn off automatically. When you move the bike again, they come back on. Or you can use the power button to make sure they stay off. Each set requires 3 AAA batteries for a total of 6 which are all included when you buy.Cons: I couldn't find the instructional video and the lights can be a bit difficult to install especially the battery unit but once you get it on everything stays in place. I ended up using a thin black strip of electrical tape to hold one of the lights in place since it seemed to be too loose on the spoke. The black tape blends in nicely and doesn't affect the light.Overall I'm very satisfied with these lights. They're very stylish and I hope they last a long time.
