Nice sized fount for an inexpensive beat-around chamber lamp. The stock burner is pretty bad, lot of flame spikes and near impossible to get a stable burn out of. Tried trimming the wick with a few different techniques, but I think it is just simply getting too much fuel and not enough air. One minute it’s fine, then the next it’s belching soot.Fortunately the collar is No.2 sized, so I was able to replace the burner with an old Plume & Atwood Queen Anne I had laying about.Lehman’s usually does good on the kero lamp stuff, but even for the price this one is a miss unless you just need the fount.

Product has bad leak near the refill opening. Flame smokes no matter how it is adjusted. Lehmans sent this. They have (had) a good reputation. I will never trust their products again.

Based on their videos, and reviews I expected a hartier built product. The base isn't fully painted , and there are defects in the paint. The quality is cheap and made in china. I will keep what i have, but will not purchase anything from this brand again.
