This was for my Christmas village. It looked great in the set up. My last one broke and I was in a panick mode as the village loooks so much better with this item. Can also be used in any other frame villages.

Arrived with a broken ground wire that I had to repair and is very dim and unstable. Not worth the price.

Two reasons for low rating. First is the high pitched electrical whine it makes that is very audible and annoying. Second is that is looks cheap and out of place next to the higher quality spooky town pieces. It just adds nothing for me and detracts instead.

some of the reviews talk about the color being more greenish and it is at first but i noticed after having it up a while i seems realistic as the actual moon has many different shades depending on all sorts of things as well so it definitely grew on me and loving it!!!!

Appears blue when illuminated. Expecting this, and it is perfect. Suits snow diorama.

I thought this moon would be perfect for my Christmas Village, I was pretty happy to see there was something like this out there. However, it’s sickly green cast when lighted was not going to work for my village. If the manufacturer had used a yellow backing instead of green it would have been perfect. I left it off and while it looked fine off, I had really wanted that moon glow.Being crafty by nature, I decided to improve my moon. Printed a moon photo on glossy photo paper, took two layers of yellow post it’s, and two layers of very thin yellow plastic, glued them all together and then glued ( Modge Podge) over the original moon. I am very happy with the results. Maybe Lemax will improve upon this great idea, but for now this will work! The stand is awesome, love that the height can be adjusted.

Love them. They are exactly like the ones I bought 14 years ago. I have several villages I keep on our wall unit that light up, and the original moons finally burned out. We turn on the villages every night including the moons, and everyone loves them, especially the moons.

It was a bit more greener than I expected when lit up but to be fair it doesnt detract from being a nice addition

This moon is fantastic, I put it into my Christmas Village scene behind the Santa and reindeer. It's amazing. But I must say, I think it will look better and catch more attention when I put the silhouette of E.T. on it. I LOVE IT, ITS GREAT.
