Keeps the blade folded which is nice for storage but don’t bash the end to much.

It's a folding jab saw. There are lennox, milwaukee, klein, greenlee, etc. This one works fine for what I need it to do. Personally I just chose it because it is unpopular and stands out on the job site so it wont "accidentally" get thrown in someone else's toolbox.I still engraved my initials on it though. 😉

This is a folding hand saw that uses reciprocating saw blades. Blade change is straightforward, if a bit clunky, but once tightened down, the blade is held securely. As long as the blade isn't longer than the handle, it folds neatly, with no exposed teeth, points, or edges. Seems sturdy and well made, the lock has held up to some pretty vigorous use. There are times I need a small hand saw, and I like the idea of this one, as I can swap in whatever blade I want, and if I bend/break a blade, it is no big deal. Locks in the folded position so it won't open in a drawer or toolbox. The handle is as comfortable to use as any other jab or hand saw of its size I have used.

I’ll be honest, I had no idea these existed until I was working with a plumber a few months ago. Their ability to use sawz-all blades really sets this tool apart. You can carry one saw with a great deal of flexibility. I always carry sawz all blades, but most jab saws have a fixed blade. If it gets damaged - you are out of luck, but no jab saw is made to cut EMT or PVC and the. Go back to drywall. I have even used this saw with some of the Bosch blades for trimming trees and bushes when they are in the way. This little saw does a lot, and the price is pennies compared to carrying four or five saws with sharp blades. The folding feature is a nice touch as well so you don’t nick your knuckles digging through the tool bag. It also well lock I to place at odd angles so that you can trim in very tight or awkward spaces.Whether you are in the trades or working at home, I do not see how you could regret buying this saw.

Okay... First off, I’m the old school wood handle jab saw guy, that been using for years & “just works”. No issues.Than, I found this gem. The jab saw blade...OMG, best ever used, will admit; & that there is one issue I have with this saw(more on that later). Easy of changing blades....simple, once you “get it” after fumble first time, but the instructions I had was the issue I believe. See, didn’t get any instructions on this product. Once I fumbled through blade change & “angle” change....SIMPLE! If don’t have instructions, save a few minutes & find on the web, you’ll be happy later. The second blade you get, metal blade...again, great blade & love it. Not only does cut toilet closet bolts like knife they butter, it’s great on PVC. The overmold doesn’t feel cheap, & fits great in the hand. Wight itself feels like a saw that won’t break in first hit into drywall (like do w/ the wood handle ones.....right, lol). Other great thing, as the blades fold into handle (only one at, so ya know...not both at once), be mindful longer blades, WILL NOT. Longer blades... This jabsaw tool will accept any Reciprocating/sawzall blade made, which is awesome. Makes it great when can use any recip blade in this handtool if don’t need a power tool. It’s great. Now, the negative, & it’s only one for me, imo. The drywall jab saw blade that comes w/ this saw is BEST USED, & like said.....that’s the issue. Here’s why. Sometimes, can’t find the “EXACT REPLACEMENT BLADE” that comes w/ this....even if the package says Lenox drywall recip/jabsaw blade.....isn’t the same. YOU NEED to write down “model number” of t(e blade you GET! & find that blade for the replacement. Now, if you don’t mind what drywall jabs as blade you are using in this multi tool, GRRAT; no issues than for you & will be really happy with a great saw. The angle adjustment is awesome when can use the blade straight....maybe obstacles, or want “more leverage” for a quicker cut. This has it, & the handles butt (the end of handle), works great for whacking into walls no problem, compared to some other folding jabsaws out there in the market. Hope helps & have fun out there....but be safe too.

As far as "keyhole" saws go this is by far the best quality one I've ever owned. The replaceable saws that fit in this retractable holder are the same that fit into reciprocating saws which I love and it's great that you have the ability to change what grain saw tooth you are using easily. It can even double as a hacksaw and if the blade breaks just whip it out and stick it right back in and go at it as hard as you want! Electricians love it, sheet rock hates it. You can also bang on that big thick handle to get it in there without worry. I am extra rough sometimes but I think this one can handle the punishment.

The best part of this saw is that it uses standard reciprocating saw blades instead of proprietary blades like many keyhole saws. It's lightweight, sturdy, and gets the job done!Edit: The saw is still holding up great, used mainly for roughing out openings in drywall and plaster, and pruning as well. The folding feature takes up very little space in the toolbox (plus prevents accidental stabs when rummaging through the toolbox) and the multi-position handle makes it comfortable for tougher jobs.As a bonus (I didn't realize this when I purchased it, because it wasn't WHY I purchased it), it can also hold standard hacksaw blades, eliminating yet another tool from the toolbox.Swap out the hacksaw blade for a bread slicer blade, and it becomes a handy bread knife for making sandwiches while on the job! Truly a multi function tool!
