The Leviton OSD0D Decora Dual-Relay Passive Infrared Wall Switch provides versatile automatic lighting control for two separate fluorescent, incandescent, or low-level lighting loads. This sensor is useful for a variety of commercial applications, featuring passive infrared (PIR) technology and customized lighting options. Two operating modes respond either to all motion or to changes in ambient light. A pre-shutoff warning, manual options, and a walk-through feature provide multiple options to satisfy real-world conditions.

Two Modes of Automation for Safety and Energy Savings
The switch allows you to manage your automatic lighting in multiple ways. Use the classroom mode and lights will turn on as motion is detected, providing a safe environment for students and personnel who might otherwise walk into a dark room.

The conference room mode relies on ambient light, calculating if the room has enough natural light available before switching lights on. In either setting, a manual override makes it possible to toggle lights on or off for presentations or films.

Dual-Relay Design for Customized Lighting
Because this dual-relay switch takes the place of two switches, it allows you to manually operate two separate sets of lighting independent of the passive lighting sensor for custom effects. For example, turn one load off to save energy during a meeting, and the sensor's settings will only affect the other load until those settings are manually changed again. The result is that you use only the lights you need, as you need them.

No More Blackouts and No Unnecessary Lighting
No Blackouts and No Unnecessary LightingFactory set for a 10-minute delayed-off time, the switch self-adjusts up to 30 minutes to compensate for real-time occupancy patterns. It beeps three times as a warning shortly before shutting off the lights, giving you a chance to reactivate the sensor and prevent an unnecessary blackout. The unit also offers a walk-through feature that shuts lights off after momentary occupancy, which provides increased energy savings. The dual-relay switch provides enhanced adjustment options for nearly every setting, so you can utilize only the features your lighting situation requires.

A service switch holds the load off allowing maintenance to occur at the fixture, reducing the time required to service the room. Compact and convenient, the OSD0D provides enhanced adjustment options for nearly every setting, so you can utilize only the features your lighting situation requires.

This product comes with a manufacturer's limited five-year warranty.

Installed in a commercial restroom to control the lights in occupancy mode and the exhaust fan in vacancy mode.

I needed a switch to turn off the bathroom lights that the children always leave on. Since the switchbox doesn't have a ground or neutral, this model was exactly what I needed. After a little more than a year of use, though, the switch occasionally hangs and the buttons become unresponsive. We'll leave it alone and come back to it after a few minutes, after which it resets itself. It seems to happen when you click the buttons too many times in a row. For now we haven't had to replace it, but it is bothersome when it hangs (especially at night when you want the lights on).

exactly 2 years later, 3/13 this switch does not work anymore. I will say it worked great but 2 years for a light switch...not worth the 75 buck...

Like it's single switch companion ... this works as both an occupancy sensor or a vacancy sensor. Like it's companion, it's commercial duty instead of just residential duty and relay based, so CFLs work fine on these. The key difference is that this switch will control two circuits from one sensor; rooms setup with two lighting levels is one scenario where this switch applies. The two sides operate on separate wiring pairs, so it can function where the feeds are split too.(The rest is a repeat review of the single switch; this operates just the same, only that it applies to two circuits, not just one.)Unlike other occupancy sensors, these have one very nice feature - adjustable ambient light detection. In the auto-on mode, it'll only turn on the light if there's insufficient ambient light (ie. it's dark out) and won't if there is enough light (ie. daylight through the windows). Likewise, it can be completely disabled for manual-on/auto-off operation only (Title 24). The coverage is excellent and sensitive - you walk into the room, and it knows you're there, unlike some cheaper ones in which you'd almost have to dance right in front of the sensor for it to detect anything. Even at the far end of the hallway here, over 20 feet away, it can detect motion. If you don't want that much range or angle coverage, you can adjust those down too.Style wise, it's nice that the sensor isn't like some pucker mouth protrusion as with some other models. It is sleekly integrated with the rest of the switch.Installation wise, NO neutral wire is required. A common ground wire still is, however. It is wider and deeper than a regular switch, though, so you may have issues if your j-box is small.Minor nit - the time delays are preset. Too minor to ding a star, though - the other features, besides the fact that IT WORKS, more than justify the 5 stars.
