I have another pair of gloves (also for puncture/cut protection) that I've reviewed. That pair is about $10 less than this product. That cheaper pair is stiffer to wear (i.e., less comfortable) but provides a better protection.I used a pushpin and jabbed through different fabrics, such as microfiber, jeans, cotton T-shirt, to establish a baseline of puncturing different fabrics, and I could always penetrate those types of fabrics with the first jab. For that cheaper pair of gloves, it prevented the pushpin from puncturing even after multiple jabs. Whereas this product prevented the pushpin from a complete penetration, but I could already feel the tip of the pushpin was about to penetrate through inside of the gloves.I do feel this product is much more comfortable to wear because its fabric is just softer all around, and the fit & finish seem to be better as well. Not to mention this product looks more stylish.

My hobbies include woodworking, leather working and DIY projects around the house. I got these gloves so I’d stop cutting myself with all the sharp tools I use. Now I just have to remember to put the gloves on BEFORE I get cut. These gloves are to protect your hands from sharp objects (i.e. glass, chisels, knifes), but won’t protect them from punctures (i.e. nails, awls, pins).Even though the description states that there’s a “liner”, I didn’t see that. It’s almost like you’re getting 2 pairs of gloves, but they don’t come apart. The outside glove has seams and sewn on PU and goatskin in critical areas. Between the fingers, below the knuckle joints, the material is thinner nylon, probably for mobility. The inner glove, or liner, is seamless, and it’s all made from the same material. Therefore, that area between your fingers is protected by the inner glove. The touch-screen feature works, but due to the thickness of the double layered gloves, I’d use that feature for simple procedures, like answering the phone and canceling spam calls.I feel that these gloves fit true to size. I ordered a XL and it fits nicely. They aren’t too thick, like a ski glove, but they are thicker then a garden or normal leather glove. Probably more like a glove used to shovel snow.In the first picture, I pulled back the outer layer glove to show the backing of the outer layer and what the inner layer looks like. The second picture shows the tag from inside the glove. The 3rd and 4th picture shows my hand inside the first layer, but outside the 2nd layer. The last picture shows normal usage. The strap is convenient for putting the glove on and the velcro on the outside layer is useful for keeping the glove on tight.I believe these gloves will keep my hands safe, if I remember to put them on and I hope you found this review helpful.
