Lewmar's new Epsilon anchor builds upon the iconic Delta anchor's robust design and overall quality. This new anchor is fully compatible with Lewmar bow rollers and is available in a range of sizes.

LFX Anchor

The new LFX anchor has been developed to complement our existing range of anchors, offering a stylish and practical design. The LFX features large alloy flukes to ensure high holding power at a greatly reduced weight. Foldable for easy stowage, the LFX is an ideal solution for smaller vessels

Delta Anchor

The Delta anchor is constructed of high-grade manganese steel and duplex stainless steel for maximum tensile strength. Its unique shank profile and ballasted tip make it self-launching, and its low center of gravity and self-righting geometry ensure that it will set immediately.

DTX Anchor

Lewmar’s DTX anchor fills the gap between the galvanised and stainless Delta anchors, allowing boat owners to choose a stainless anchor. The DTX brings the improved aesthetics and anti-corrosion qualities of stainless steel anchors to the mass market

image

CQR Anchor

The CQR anchor has gained a reputation for its superior performance. The original drop-forged construction of the CQR anchor increases its strength and reliability under load. Its hinged shank delivers consistent setting and holding even in the very worst conditions.

image

Claw Anchor

Design based on anchors used to secure oil rigs in the North Sea. The Claw anchor is constructed of high-grade galvanized or stainless steel cast in a single piece. It sets effortlessly, holds in a variety of seabeds and stows easily on the bow roller of most boats.

LFF Anchor

Being a lightweight simple anchor, the LFF anchor is a strong secondary anchor to have on-board. A folding design provides simple stowage and different anchoring possibilities.

Kedge Anchor

Our Lewmar Kedge anchors are available in a range of sizes and galvanized or stainless steel. For larger yachts, the Kedge anchor is seen in twin, through-hull installations.

Was a little bit shocked at how large the anchor actually was but once I got over that and found storage on my boat this thing performed! Once your drop that anchor and pull it into the ground a little that thing and your boat are going no where. Would recommend buying the next larger size anchor than required for amazing results.

The best anchor for Puerto Rico beaches as it holds really good in every type of ocean floor I've encountered. Every one of the boats I've owned have had this anchor. It doesn't look stylish but it works....your decision.

These "Bruce" style claw anchors work well for the muddy bottoms we have around my area in the Pacific NW. There are many copies of this style anchor but I am happy to see the Lewmar brand on this since I trust that brand more than the generic. These have good geometry and nice galvanized finished

This is the best anchor that I have ever used. I bought two sizes for my Parker 25' cuddy cabin. One is at the bow and another is in the cockpit for quick anchoring when drift fishing. The hole size could be a little bigger to accommodate connecting gear. I saw a youtube video about connecting the anchor line to the back of the anchor and to use an electrical tie on the shank connecting the anchor again to the chain. I found that this diminished the holding ability of the anchor and rotted through quickly. The reason for doing this is to break the anchor free when it is caught on an under water object. That happens rarely for me so I went back to connecting the anchor at the shank end only.

Bought this based on many reviews and some research about different anchors. We primarily anchor in a spot where the bottom can be sand or mud and sometimes struggled to get my Danforth anchor to really set, sometimes. Have used this Lewmar only once since we got it but, wow, it does as advertised and set almost immediately. It never slipped all day. Even through some serious rocking from the Wakesurf Boats wakes it never let go. 6 hours it stayed put. I would usually have to reset the Danforth if in softer bottom. Really impressed so far.

I have a glastron gt205 and this anchor works like a charm. I just drop it and move on with my day. I have yet to have it not hold. The lake I go on is pretty much mud - no rocks or anything so I can’t say anything for that. But I love the fact I can drop it anywhere and not have to try and put the boat in reverse to try and set it. It’s definitely worth the money. Also I put a five foot chain on it. I bought the 16.5 and I think it’s more like 20lbs, if not heavier.

I moved to lake St-Jean last year and my fluke type anchor just wouldn’t hold my 26 ft sailboat. It got so bad that I felt my safety was at stake. I purchased the 22 lb Lewmar and boy, let me tell you, that thing is just amazing! It feels like we are literally “welded” to the bottom. Even during a nasty thunderstorm with wind reaching over 50 km/h, the lewmar held fast. We didn’t even moved a inch. But it still easy to pull out if the boat is on top of it. One of the best purchase for my sailboat so far. Very highly recommended.

I have a 34' 8500 lb boat. I bought this as an alternate to my Danforth fluke anchor, which is really a compromise anchor that holds okay in most settings but is hard to trust. This claw anchor holds great on sandy bottoms, and served me well on a recent trip to the Bahamas after an isolated initial incident (see below). It also does pretty well where I live around the southwest Florida Gulf coast, also generally a soft sandy bottom. The drawback to this anchor is that it is somewhat difficult to set. Once set it would probably stay set through a hurricane, but it does have a tendency to grab with only one side of the claw rather than the big middle hook. I learned this the hard way when I was a bit careless while diving the Sapona outside Bimini and it broke loose. My dive partner and I looked up to see our boat rapidly drifting away. Thankfully we had buddies on the boat who were able to easily just fire up the boat and come back to the dive site, but if we had been dead boat diving, it could have been a much more dangerous situation.Since then, I just descend down the anchor line and make sure I have a good set, and fix it if I don't. If you need to anchor in deep water or otherwise do not dive and have no means to access the anchor directly, you may have to try more aggressive methods like backing down on the anchor with a long scope out, which of course isn't the end of the world but I would not call this a "fire and forget" anchor.

I'm a new boat owner and started out by using the Danforth anchor that it came with. A captain I hired for some lessons suggested a plow anchor and I bought this. I may have bought one bit heavier than needed, though it was within the guidelines on their website. We drop this in and there's basically no setting of the anchor. It just grabs. We always anchor on a sandy bottom so that's the only environment I can comment on. I've had this for several months now and it shows absolutely no signs of wear.

I bought this anchor because I was tired of my danforth breaking free while fishing in rocky bottoms. I was happy to see that this anchor provides well in all bottoms so far. I have been using this anchor consistently for the last 3 months. I fish in Long Island sound, typically between 30-150ft in as much current as I can find. I have anchored problem free in sand, mud, mussels and rock. This anchor works amazingly well even with a short scope.I connected 10 feet of 5/16 chain to the front hole with a 3/8 shackle (had to drill hole larger). Then use large cable ties to connect the rear hole to the chain. When the anchor gets stuck on a rock I can break the anchor free by snapping the cable tie causing the anchor to be pulled from the front out of obstruction. This is done by putting forward tension on the anchor with the engine. This setup works very well and I highly recommend it if your anchor gets stuck often.I use this 22lb anchor on a 22' seasport. It is a pilot house which catches a lot of wind. I absolutely love this anchor and now get to watch the other guys drift by me as their danforths break free.My only complaint with this anchor is the size of the front hole. To me a 3/8" shackle seems appropriate for this anchor. I had to drill the hole slightly larger for a 3/8" shackle to fit.

As an avid recreational kayaker, this anchor is excellent. Whether alone or w/ a bunch of friends, I'm able to drop this anchor and tie on as many as kayaks as desired (7 is the most that have been used at once to date), and it holds them even during strong tidal changes. And it was less expensive and heavy than the previous mushroom anchor that I was using. Great VALUE, and it's so light that it can be carried on any kayak, canoe or john boat w/out affecting the weight! Thanks!
