Was the best price on the Market and its great quality. Took some time to build over the course of a few days with 2 people, but got it done! I needed another hoop since my original one got destroyed during a storm and looked everywhere till I found this specific one on Amazon. It is exactly what I needed !

We purchased and installed this product in 2014 around March Madness and got a good deal. Looking back, I would be happy to pay full price now.I installed it myself and wanted to be sure that it was sturdy and stable. I made absolutely certain that I dug deep and wide enough to satisfy the requirements. Also, the instructions recommend using rebar on the inside to help anchor the pole. I purchased some rebar (3 ov them 3-4 feet long) from the local Home Depot and put those in there. Be sure you have an extra bag of cement. I installed ours later in the evening and realized I didn't have enough cement mixed. My wife had to run to Home Depot to grab more so we could finish it out. Be sure to slope the top of the cement away from the pole so that water doesn't pool there and rust out the pole.Over the past almost 6 years, that hoop has taken some abuse from the neighborhood kids, including our 3 boys. We've replaced the net once and one of our friends backed her minivan into it a couple of years ago. It damaged her bumper and left a very noticeable dent in her bumper, but did not damage our goal AT ALL. I checked it the next day and it was still perfectly vertical. Finally, the customer service has been excellent. The gas spring is a critical piece that allows for the height adjustment. We just requested a second replacement. Over time, the spring loses it's full range of motion. It always goes to full height, but will not go all of the way back down to the lowest setting. The first time, it wouldn't go lower than halfway down. Currently, it won't budge from the 10 foot height. I don't know what the trigger is - whether it is weather related, abusive behaviors from users (pinching the adjustment handle and then letting go completely instead of setting the height, holding it in position and then releasing the handle), or not adjusting the height often enough to keep the spring lubricated. Regardless of the trigger, the customer service has been phenomenal. I simply send them an email and they have sent me a replacement part within a few business days.My only complaint is the rim. It breaks away nicely to prevent damage to the backboard and system, but the tension has to be set so tight that balls seem to trampoline off of it more than they would at the local school. For this price point, however, that's a minor issue.

The instructions was not the easiest to follow mostly because it doesn't really say what bolt and nut to use. It just has a picture then you have to guess what looks right. Other than that this thing is amazing I got a great deal on it and it's super sturdy. No way you can go wrong here. My kids and I love it and I'm sure this will be around for a very long time.

Finally got a chance to install the hoop and one side is lower than the other. The arm that connects the hoop to the pole is twisted and is not allowing the rim and backboard to be straight. I have doubled checked to make sure that the pole is level and all parts are secured properly. It is clearly a design defect.

Was really a bear to put together (and difficult instructions with mostly just a few pictures) and not all of the bolts/spacers/washers fit as expected. Consequently the backboard has quite a bit of movement in it when the ball hits it, whereas it should be solid. Now we have to get additional hardware to make up for the areas where there is "play" in the nut to bolt fitting. Also the ground sleeve and instructions should have been included, we had to order separately.

Great product. Bolts were a little hard getting nuts on, but with ratchets it was not too bad. The ease in which the hoop is adjusted is amazing. Box arrived beaten up pretty bad, but nothing inside was damaged. I thought instructions were ok to follow. I did most of work myself and needed a friends help for the last 2 steps. Hardest part was digging the 24 inch hole to pour cement. Great product and my kids are in love with it already. The amazon price was by far the best deal.

For the price, i'm really happy with this basketball system. Yes, it's a pain in the butt to put together; but it's not impossible. Once in the ground, the hoop is sturdy and looks great. My only gripe is with the backboard. It's overly forgiving - absorbing too much of the force from the ball and not giving the ball the appropriate amount of ricochet.Tip: Spend the extra $40 for the in-ground sleeve; it makes the installation process MUCH easier.
