The battery life for this remote is an average of 5 years due to its low 3V voltage. This single-button remote is only compatible with newer Security+ 2.0 LiftMaster garage door openers or gate openers with a yellow round learn button and yellow antenna. Programming is done by simply pressing the learn button on the opener then pressing the button on the remote.

Wish I would've done this years ago. At first I bought the wrong product tried and try to make it work, but it wouldn't hook up then I went back and got the exact same garage door opener I already had with the name and everything exactly the same. I barely put the garage door opener button and it paired right away! So happy don't forget people you have to put new batteries in your garage door opener just cause they stopped working doesn't mean they're broken.

The item I received had a completely dead battery. It wouldn’t even power the LED. I contacted the seller and they sent a brand new battery out to me. Now the device works perfect.

This remote works with garage door opener with yellow learn button. In the past I bought a different brand and it never worked. This one is very easy to set up, that it took me less than a minute to set it up.

Had trouble programing the garage door opener in my car with the aftermarket opener I had. Bought this one (it is a Liftmaster garage door opener) and it worked great to program the car opener. Worth the money for that. Package came EARLY the next morning after ordering it.

I had bought a cheap version of these and they worked but if I would use one of them it would cancel out the other and I would have to re teach them. These work well and do not require me to re teach them all the time. If you have the lift master door opener buy the real lift master button

Let it be known that I tried to replace these remotes with a copy of the original remote opener. I had spent a few days for over 2 weeks trying to get them to program…NOTHING. When I had actually got them doing something, the other copycat remotes only served to screw up my original settings. All they had done was to turn the opener lamp on and off. Now, the door would not even move using the wired switch.These two remotes arrived before 8AM next day and I ran out to the 18’ shop door, hit the learn button…BAM….perfect. Programmed both in under 90 seconds….done!Pleased as punch…happy as the proverbial clam…jumping for joy…etc, etc.Remember they are 3 times the cost but infinitely better and easier to set up than the other brands.
