The slits are too big to actually hold onto any thread. Basically useless

I used these to organize a ton of "loose" embroidery floss I use for sewing. They are sturdy and worked good for my purpose. However, the slots (at beginning and end of the floss) are not going to "hold" the floss in place. The slits are not slim enough to grab and hold the floss tightly. This was not an issue for me, but just be aware.

These are about what you would expect for embroidery floss spools. There were several in the package that were mis cut so quality is not quite there. The slots on the end to hold the floss are too large to actually punch it and hold it. So if you plan to keep these in the box type floss organizer it should be ok. If these spools are kept loose then the floss will definitely unravel and tangle.

I had a bunch of embroidery floss that was getting tangled. I had a box but needed to wrap them around a bobbin. I like these because they are plastic. The plastic is much more durable then the cardstock ones. I like that they have a hole on one side. This is perfect for pulling aside the colors for a project. I can attach them together with it.

I bought this brand because no other listing on Amazon sells embroidery bobbins in packs less than 100. They work great, the variation of color bobbins is nice, and the plastic is pretty sturdy. I did find one bobbin with excess plastic in the slits, but since this was the only one with any errors on it, I can overlook it. Not to mention, I can easily remove the plastic with a knife- it's not completely unusable. I do recommend these to anyone needing an affordable option that's a pack less than 100.
