The pads are a little flimsy and replacements are somewhat pricey.However, it does a good job and user friendly.

Wanted a steam mop for my laminate wood in the loft and porcelain tile on main floor. There were MANY to choose from - I didn’t want any gadgets or attachments; just a steam mop. Times are very tough so didn’t want to spend too much. Narrowed it down to three steam mops and LIGHT’N’EASY reviews were informative and above average overall so I ordered it. SO GLAD I DID! It’s a snap to put together, it’s so lightweight, simple to replace mop heads and it’s easy to add water (DISTILLED WATER). The BEST feature is that it works very well, steams after about 20 seconds and cut the mopping time by 75%! I no longer dread mopping and actually find it fun! I have a dog and a cat and live in the country so my floors are subject to all sorts of dirt and who knows what. I don’t use any chemicals around my pets so this steam mop is a lifesaver! I highly recommend the LIGHT’N’EASY mop; price was great and the delivery was quick. I’m very happy with this purchase and my floors are too!

UPDATE FOR 2024:I have to say, after having this thing for 4 years it is still going strong! I love how the floor feels afterwards. I have not had one complaint with this mop.... If this mop becomes available again snag it up ASAP! you won't regret it.Original review:Finally got around to using this steam mop. At first it seemed to take a while for the steam to start (I'm usually impatient when I get excited trying something out even though you only have to wait around 30 seconds). Once the steam started it was off to the races. It was blasting through everything I was throwing at it. It was very easy to use, easy to push around, and cleans great. I love that there is no real trigger that you have to push or hold for the steam as it is activated while pushing the mop forward. The chord length is amazing. I was a little nervous on the length but it is definitely long enough to be able to clean around an entire room. The thing I love most is the reusable mop heads that you can throw in the wash. No more having to buy the disposal mop sheets like swiffer has that I usually have to use three or four of at a time for cleaning the entire house. I feel I could easily clean the entire house with this one mop head. Another nice little included item is the little funnel that is included to help pour the water into the mop. I think this thing is great for the price point that it is at. Great little steam mop.

2023 Update: 4 yrs, still going strong. I added some photos. Look closely at the mop handle. I had some of the plastic housing crack. Taped it up with duct tape -- gold duct tape. As you can see from the pix, they hang over about an inch all around. This gives the mop better access to the floor next to baseboards.We have a lot of tile, some of which is traditional square tile with no pattern, but the majority is 36” plank, Acacia pattern — looks like wood. We love the latter, but it always seemed to be streaked and spotted. Mopping with a traditional mop only left more streaks and spots. So a friend recommended the Light ’n’ Easy. Wow!Part of the beauty of the Light 'n' Easy (L 'n' E) is its simplicity. Fill, plug, go! That also translates into less that can go wrong. Smart.Pros: 1. It does not leave streaks and spots! 2. The floors dry in a heartbeat compared to the old mop.3. Areas we thought were clean actually had dust we could not see (traditional tile) that came up with the L ’n’ E.4. Simple to use: fill tank with purified water to near max line. Plug in. Wait 3-5 minutes to heat up. Pump handle (like you were mopping) 5-6 times. It steams. Move slowly with front to rear motion. This pumps more steam and cleans better than going fast. If there is a spot, just go over it several times.IMPORTANT: When you hear less hissing, or when you notice floor is not as damp, refill the tank. There is no low water light that comes on.Tips: 1. Slow mop action — not fast. Nice ’n’ easy. 2. Using purified water (think bottled water) will prevent streaks and spots. Most municipal water has some hardness which translates into, you guessed it, streaks and spots.3. When finished, take the upper part of the handle off and dump left over water.4. There is no off/on switch so remember to unplug when you are done or when you need to refill.5. Always let L ’n’ E cool before emptying tank or stowing.6. Take microfibre pad off and rinse it out and hang it up to dry for next time.Recommendations for manufacturer:Our tile sweeps from the front door to the back — could use 5 feet more cord.Blue power light is on front away from operator. Need indicator on the back, too.Could use a low water level light visible to operator. What if operator is deaf and cannot hear steam hiss?Update: After watching my wife use Mop Lite 'N' Easy, I realized I'd left something out of our review. If you've been using a manual mop and bucket for years, then you are used to putting your back into scrubbing the floor when you mop. With Mop Lite 'N' Easy, do not do that! The steam does the work for you. So, relax, and slowly push it back and forth -- let it do the work for you! It is actually more efficient if you back off!
