The description and the product differ. The wrench included doesn't fit anything. The hooks slip in and turn to lock in place. That's a bonus for my 67+ yo hands. Major pet peeve. The sizes are given in metric. Couldn't it be written in US as well? Otherwise so far so good. The hooks have a point at the top that is a real bonus for fiddly stitches like the waistcoat or extended crochet. The light is a big help. Worth the price. Love the case.

I really loved the idea of having a hook that I could easily track rounds with. Initially, the plastic base of one of the hooks broke about a month in, making that hook size unusable. Whatever, I still used it as a counter while using a different hook. I started a new project using a different hook size, and halfway through the project the entire base where the hook attaches broke. This was with regular use, I wasn’t pushing it to the limits, just crocheting as I usually do. I’ve had it less than two months, and now it’s completely unusable for anything other than as a counter.

I have been crocheting for over 30 years. I never would have guessed they’d come up with something such as this! Someone told me about this gadget, and I couldn't believe there was such a thing. Well - here it is! I love it! It really is helpful; I don't have to waste time counting stitches and rows. And if I lose my place it's simple to find it with this counter. It has all of the sizes of hooks I'm used to using, both plastic and aluminum and a little wrench to easily switch them out. The handle is great; easy to grip and hold onto. AND I LOVE THE LIGHT! These old eyes have a harder time seeing than when I first began this hobby so many years ago. The case is good and sturdy keeping everything neat and tidy just the way I like it. It comes with great accessories as well. Absolutely recommend this!

What I love about this set is the metal needles. I have used other lighted hooks and the plastic is not as smooth as the metal. The way the needles lock in and their length eliminate some challenges common with lighted adjustable hooks.What I was disappointed with is the counter doesn’t have any memory. If the battery dies you lose your stitch count. It also is not back lit so that makes it a little difficult to see at times. The hook light on the brightest setting is not bright enough for darker yarns. The hook light is not very effective with the metal needles and the smaller hook sizes are all metal. I would have also liked the handle to be a little more rounded for comfort.All that said I continue to use the set and hope the manufacturer will include a brighter light and back up battery for the stitch counter in the future.

It is difficult for me to keep track of my stitches while I am using standard crochet hooks since the lighting is poor, and to tell you the truth, it is rather aggravating. After seeing this set of light-up crochet hooks that come in 18 various sizes and have an ergonomic grip, I thought it would be a good idea to give them a try, and they did not let me down. I was immediately impressed by how efficient the LED light was when I used these crochet hooks for the very first time. I believe that the light is bright enough to assist me in seeing each stitch clearly without being too challenging for my eyes to handle. The ability to crochet in low-light situations has been much simplified as a result of this, and it has enabled me to relax on the sofa while working on my projects without the need for an extra lamp. Additionally, the built-in counter is a creative addition to the space. I used this product with very difficult designs that demand regular counting, and I believe that having a counter directly on the hook saved me time and effort. I utilized this device. My tendency to lose track of my rows, which was an issue I often encountered in the past, was prevented by this. Because of the pleasant grip on these hooks, I was able to crochet for longer lengths of time without experiencing as much pressure on my hands. Crocheting for long hours may often lead to hand tiredness. There are 18 distinct sizes included in the package, which I believe is an excellent example of adaptability. I am able to work on a project that resembles tight lace or a bigger, chunkier item since I have all of the sizes that I need in a single set that is handy for me.
