ASTM issues guidelines for performance of medical face masks, including a requirement for fluid resistance and particulate filtration. ASTM F2100-11 standards also call for mask packaging to be clearly labeled with the level of protection in one of three levels: 1, 2 or 3. This standard reinforces the importance of labeling to identify protection level, based on fluid resistance, filtration and breathability. This greatly simplifies the process of mask selection.

Love these masks. They have a little foam strip around the nose piece that keeps them from falling while talking and keeps your glasses from fogging up.

I have been ordering these masks for a while, I like them because they fit nicely and have a good grip on your nose without causing a mark.

At the hospital I saw nurses wearing them so I guess is good. Is thicker than other surgical mask and very comfortable, I can breath in them well, I was 36 hours at the hospital for my Mami surgery, change them every 3 hours and sometimes even forgot I was wearing them.

These masks were being given out at my doctor's office. The one I was wearing was getting kind of manky so I asked if I could have one. It fit over my beard and didn't fog up my glasses. I went home and ordered some right away. That was two months ago and I am still happy using them. Good product, good price.

These are the real deal, Level 3 mask, so they are thicker than the Level 1's they hand out in the clinic. If you're looking for that extra level of protection, these are the ones to get. Consumers should read up on the Levels 1, 2, and 3 characteristics to know what they mean.Level 1 is fine for general shopping, but if I'm going to fly, sit in a commuter vehicle, or go to a concert/event, then Level 3 is my preferred mask type.
